*Shakes head that some people think insulting people by comparing them to the real life mentally handicappedis clever or amusing, and not insulting to those people that have friends and family members that suffer from those inflictions...*

Third, if you have a hard time following any spatial conversation because of the number of messages coming through create a new chat window for tells and use that. Yet another tool for you to use to better your communications, but you'll probably come up with some excuse for not using this one too just so you can hate on AFKers some more.

Why do you assume my messages are about AFK hate? You said that spam is not a problem. I showed you how it is.

There are ways to work around it, yes. I do not dispute that. But I do point out that not everyone is as devilishly clever as you are and can figure these things out. Just because you can tackle spam doesn't mean that Newbie Neil can.

Probably because no less than 5 people in this thread have said the problem with AFKers is the spam.

I didn't realize /addignore and multiple chat windows were such high level skills that only the smart people could find and use. I am devilishly clever though

I take it then that you don't participate in any player events where there's as many people as the Coronet cantina all talking to each other since you just skipped over that part of my post. I know there's quite a few people here that have participated in such events, so please, somebody enlighten us all as to how you deal with the amount of spacial flooding going on there but can't deal with it in a cantina. The n00bs are depending on you.

What exactly would you suggest the devs do so that n00bs are protected from having to use the toolsalready provided to them? Even if the devs would stop AFKers from spamming itisn't going to help them one bit at player events where the spatial flood comes from ATKers or in front of the starports where ATKers spam their sales or training offers. They already have the tools they need to ignore the offenders so more tools probably won't help either.

That's my son's bus. I'll make all the comments I want about how you compare tothe mentally handicapped. They are the ones who should feel offeneded that I would lump you in with them.
