I would like to make a very specific request in regards to the new Cantina searches.

The Rebel guards walk right up to individual people and say "That oufit is pretty silly" (the Stormtroopers just make a general observation about what people wear in cantinas). It's just insulting, especially to those of us playing Entertainers who care about our outfits. Do we really need to have them insulted every 15 minutes?

Maybe if they only did it when someone was weaing a leotard...

I'm not one of those opposed to the change in its entirety. But I don't know why the guards' script has to contain insults.

While I am at it, I will chime in and agree that the frequency is way too high. The constant NPC bubbles do fill up my screen and make Spatial difficult to use, especially on a busy night.

Another idea that might make the whole thing more fun might be an ability granted to high-ranking members of the same faction to say. /dismiss the guard patrols. Another place to put this ability wouldbe in the Smiggler's underworld tree (as /bribe, maybe?).

I don't mind the idea of guards. I don't mind some shootouts sometimes. But there is no reason to make the guards' dialogue be this unpleasant and annoying.

I was in Mos Eisley on Corbantis last night. The cantina was pretty quiet only about 4 other ents in there and a couple of patrons. There were 3 combatants there camping the spawns which still occurred about every 5 minutes even with the small crowd.

Until the spam is always toned down, several people have brought up the alternative of using Hotels and Theatres, which the ST's don't seem to touch...

Now if we could just get the ST's to spam about all the entertainment having moved to the local hotel.

I think these guys were also in the audience for my Theater Quest... I knew I should have killed them then!

Yep, I didn't think those comments were fun in the Theater Quests and I don't think they are fun from the faction NPCs either. O.o
