I hug all girls I see come in the cantina and Wink at the guys.

Girls should feel welcome.

Okay...

I just saw this thread and thought I would throw in my own perspective...

I am a RL female roleplayer, playing a female Twi'lek Dancer, and currently waiting tables in a Player owned Cantina. I am also in a relationship in RL with another woman who I love dearly.

So...The same sex customer thing is a different persepctive for me than for many. I am not remotely hung up on being friendly with men or women, and try to make everyone feel welcome, appreciated, and like I care about them. People who come to the cantinas should have fun, feel welcome and feel special.

I have never had a serious issue in game, even when my RL mate's character comes into the cantina and I hug and kiss on her and and call her "My Love"...most people either have no issue, ignore it, or say nothing.

My only real concern is if my female customers might feel odd around me after seeing such an exchange, or finding out I, and my character, like women. *Shrug* I would hate for that to be the case...and I haven't had anyone say or do anything YET that made me think I had made someone uncomfortable. But, I can't know what may be in someone's thoughts if they just quietly walk away. *Sigh*

So...to turn the tables on theissue a bit:

Would you as a customer, walking into a cantina where I worked as a waitress or Dancer, feel upset or uncomfortable knowing I was attracted to women in RL and in game? Would it bother you when I smiled and flirted with you? Would you say anything about it? Would you feel uncomfortable but keep quiet?

I honestly want to know how my customers feel when I am dancing and flirting in the cantina. I want people to have a good time in this game and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable if I can help it...

I am NOT a heavy flirter...but I do smile, hug and wink a lot...that sort of thing. I do not play or roleplay anything beyond innocent flirting. I am in a relationship in RL, and so is my character in game...so it never goes beyond a smile, wink, hug, etc.

Come into any Cantina I am dancing in...and you will get a Hi! Hello! Hey (whatever your name is)..I am female IRL, and I play a female dancer. I talk to everyone IRL, and IG...male, female, or undecided...I dont care. I flirt with everyone and chat nonstop...my typing skills have dramatically increased since SWG I dont care if you are a male playing a female, a femal playing a male or an undecided playing whatever flips your twinkies. I will greet you when you walk in the door, if you tell me goodbye before you go you will get a hug (at least) and a warm goodbye....if you tip me (and I can see you, sometimes I cant see ppl ina crowded cantina) I wil say thanks & give you a kiss on the cheek (or blow you a kiss if you are far away)...its the way I am....I am just a HUGE flirt.

BTW....most of the time, my RL husband is sitting behind me in the cantina, healing me & making houses. He knows I flirt with everyone, call everyone hun or darlin & he knows a lot of people (NOT just men) flirt with me....I talk & he sits quietly & just looks good

Just wondered how you react as a dancer to a customer of the same sex?

Most of the dancers in SWG are female, and I've noticed that when a female warrior (All combat types I mean) come into the cantina's, they're mostly ignored (Yes I know about 95% of them are really male behind the character). Yet I take the time to flrit, wink, etc.. Most like it and I find I get good tips from them. Yet I also get some negative reaction from others in the cantina, most of knocking of the lesbo crap etc. Yet I do less than I've seen from a lot of others. So I wonder, do you guys just look for girls? Do any of you girls, pay any attention when women come in?

When I started dancing, I never winked, never blew kisses, never greeted anyone who stepped inside. I just danced my way to master. Never did I AFK dance, butonly at the last 40k to get master so I could get it over with.

I'm rather oblivious when players come in and I tried not to take too much attention. In fact, I stopped dancing after I hit master because one reason I wanted to give the other entertainers their chance to get money and noticed.
