I can rip up the DDR pads (Actually I play PIU, it's got bigger pads that are more me sized, and I think the steps are more fun) but besides that, never been much of a dancer. I've always wanted to, which I think is why I like being an entertainer in SWG.

I'm also not much for music, but I can at least pretend to play a few things. Mostly piano, but I have a collection of various flutes of different types that I can sort of play. (Anything but concert flutes.) Okay, so I can make a sound from them. And sometimes pretend to carry a tune.

but people would rather see the sexy twi than me

I danced professionally for 5years for variousstage companies and theatre productions - its been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The buzz and excitement from participating in live performances is just unbeleivable, truly amazing. Without a doubt, dancer in SWG drew me like a moth to flame as most people who know me online are aware of my deep interests in choreography, creativity and creating that which is just visually stunning as my focus has always been on the entertainment and performance value of what we can do. One of the things I really love when there is a group of us who get together to perform our routines for a proper, sit-down audience is when one ofmy fellow "star comrades" admits that they feel butterflies - I think it is just fantastic to still get those sensations from somethingsuch asa computer game, because at the end of the day we really are performing.

I dance irl. I did real dancing when I was younger. I always danced with people much more talented than myself though, so I never got a very big head about it, lol. I was ok. I mostly only ever showed up at an audition though if I was tagging along with one of my truly talented friends, hehe.

Plus, I've always leaned towards chubby, which is a no no for professionals... so, I haven't done any real dancing since I was like 20 maybe? (28 now, and no where in good enough shape to even think about doing any real dancing, lol) I do still dance at clubs though... which is nothing like the same thing, but I've always loved it.

I started talking my way into clubs when I was very young and I'll probably be some weird old granny dancing in whatever the freak night clubs are when I'm 80(there was one in Tacoma called Granny Go-go or something, she'll be my role model ).

It sometimes cracks me up that all of my years of dance training only come up when I'm doing something weird like kicking butt at Donkey Konga ("wow, you really have great rhythm, do you play music?" "nah, dancer") or when the bikini waxer asks me to like move my leg and I kick it up over my head, lol ("wow, you are insanely limber!" "yeah, dancer"). Heh, shouldn't my parents be proud all of their dedication to shuttling me around all those years really paid off. Ha!

Ah, but Roho and Roho's creator are not quite the same. If Roho's creatorwere to call you, it wouldn't be me who might be a bit perturbed, little Miss Just-got-engaged . .. . . .

Just wondering, are any of you good at dancing in real life? I like to dance, but I just know I look ridiculous doing it.... So anyway, can any of you dance as well as your character?

This is probably a stupid idea, but we should all make videos of ourselves dancing in real life and post them somewhere.

yes actually - growing up i took 10 years of Tap lessons, 6 years of Ballet, and about 8 of Jazz. I've had kids so i'm out of shape now though haha

Anyways I'd be in the catergory of my in game repoitoire is better then my RL... interestingly I think more dancers dance in RL, then musicians play an instrument in RL... but I could be wrong.

hard to say - my first toon on kauri is master dancer/ent/musician... i was a music major in college and took dance as a kid... but i HATED the music grind in game even tho i enjoyed dance tremendously

Which version of it? The american version isn't as good.

My husband and I love to do the arcade version when we go to the Magic Kingdom (disney world florida - they have it in the arcade in space mountain) - it is the original japanese arcade standee and is a blast.

we have the disney mix for PS2 which is ok but missing some of the best songs
