I love the entertainer community since I picked up my first pair of dancing shoes, way back in beta 3. Even though I rarely log in these days, I still read the dancer and musician boards almost every day. The dancer board has the perfect balance between gossip and information, I must add

As an entertainer, this is part of my daily rounds. I have five boards floated: Dancer, Entertainer, Musician, Tailor, and Image Designer. I'm here mostly for the community and not for the news.

you should have heard me out loud

"You can float boards?!?!?!"

it was pretty amusing, I always learn new things on the Dancer Forums!!

As for why I came here it's because this is one of the few profession forums I regularly read, atleast more than others

I've had a smattering of Dancer for a while, but ID is what's really kept me interested in entertaining. I haven't really been much of a forums person, after all the horrible hate-fest that is the server forums, not to mention the combat profession forums (some of them just get soooo out of hand). Since the ID forum was so much fun, I jumped into Fan Fest. I've done well there, so picked up Dancer once I decided to persue it as a profession full time with ID and join a band. I decided to hit Master Ent and then Musician, which I just scored THIS MORNING! GO ME!

I like making other entertainer contacts and it's good to know that I'm not the only person who hates AFK play.

I know a lot of dancers...
and I have a good friend irl that dances but doesnt often read the forums, so I like keeping her up on issues or news.

and you lot are often better looking and dress nicer than the things I hunt or the crowd I group with. Entertainers dont often ask riflemen to group, dont know why... and, you smell better than my pets

I wanted to see if they fixed the bug where the devs don't post on the Entertainer forums. No luck.

Why am I here?

Well that's a very good question. I support dancers..er no I don't have any living at my home or entertainers checking my fridge. But I think dancers and entertainers are the most unsung heroes of SWG. Why? because the canteena is the very heart of any role-play on any server I have ever played on. Aside from that Dancers and entertainers are more likely to role-play than any other class. SWG was the first and may still be the only game that has these special classes designed specifically for social interaction. ID's of course are in the same category traling close behind.

I'm not saying anything new but IMHO insofar as role-play is concerned on average 80% of any RP inittated probably has something to do with either a dancer or entertainer somewhere along the way.

Some entertainers I found wereopportunists and for the most part horrible ((greedy bots, whatever)).

Besides that small percentage I still tip voluntarily to any one novice or master for that inspiration buff. Not a holier-than-thou thing..just a simple "hey thanks".

I hope the majority stays. I think those that dance do it out of love and nothing stops that..for them. I hope others who join as new accounts mightlearn fromtheir example.

All that and reading the test server latest patch notes I think is a good turn of events for those of you out there. As for me i'll keep lurking.

I'm here to occasionally release my Wookiee rage. Apologies for all of you having to deal with that.

And to talk with the ever friendly Dancers

Everyday I check the Entertainer, Dancer, and Musician boards. I hold my breath each time I look at the Dev Tracker, hoping to see Entertainer Revamp details, because it's all long overdue.

(This is where some more rage was, before I thought better of posting it)

Man, I don't even bother loooking at the Dev tracker. I figure if a Dev posts here there will be so many posts about the fact the Dev posted it will be screamin out at page one.

Well I wasn't here the day the thread started cause I was out of town. I'm here today like I am most days because I enjoy all the people here. We may not always agree on what is happening with the professions we love but we do agree they are the best.

Oh and as soon as I get back from a business trip Imaji is going to teach me MD and I'll be able to add that to my MM so I can play for you all or join in the line.
