"I don't know exactly when it happened because it doesn't seem to be listed in any patch notes, but it must have been around the first week in August 2003. That was the time when the developers made entertainer mission terminals useless by making missions payout only 200cr and by removing off-planet missions. In my opinion this did more to kill the entertainment professions than anything else, including buffbots and AFK play (partially because it had the effect of discouraging entertainer travel and thusencouraging such play)."
and...
"Yes. They didn't pay much, but you could take a couple of assignments off planet, do 'em both, and you'd usually have some profit - one mission wouldn't pay for the trip, but if you combined them it was a good way to get around. Even then we were asking for the missions to pay more, but instead they stopped us travelling and made mission payouts less. That's how we got where we are today."
... and some idiot decided to one-star me. Whatsane personcould possibly have seenBOTH of thoseposts as worthy of one star??? I mean what was so offensive about what I wrote? If you don't agree with me, bemature about itand tell me why, instead of taking the ultimatecoward's optionof simplyone-starring me. Wussy!

You can thank the SoE decision to tie our forum "rank" to the star thing for the one star bandits that come through and one star every post you made until you drop down a ranking.
It happens to me any time I disagree with certain members of this forum who are either men pretending to be flirty women or members of the colorful entertainercentric player association on Bria.

Reach, most of the people I know who you are refering to as the "colorful entertainercentric player association on Bria" don't use the staring system. Perhaps it's because we are more mature and think the forum ranking system is a bit on the childish side. So you can look elsewhere to lay your angst for 1 star posts.

Please take the arguments offline. I need this information and I'm grateful to anyone who can help. I need the thread to stay on topic.

carefull people she has her own army and if glady set peoples minds on fire for her
anywho back on topic pre entertainer mission terminals you could get entertainer missions from the noble in the theaters near the stairs off to the side backstage they usually paid around 500 credits sometimes more when ent mission terminals appeared the payouts dropped rediculouly low.

THAT is why it wasn't gelling in my brain! The "good" missionswere from the NPCs around the theater, not the terms.

I have never gotten a entertainer mission to complete for me. I dance and dance and dance in an empty cantina and it just never says "ok that's enough".
I've been in a group where mission payout for someone else has happened. Poor dancer got a mission only for 200 credits and ended up splitting it with her group. I gave her the 9 credits I received back lol.
