Thread: will the new buffs just bring back the bots?

That's kind of the way I and a few others feel about your flaming on anyone who dares to speak out about the poor state of the professions. Two sides of the same coin.

Wouldn’t use of ID be more efficient for this? One can master ID in less then 2 hours now … or is ID not used for this because it gives them less points to respec with?
As much as I hate all of the FS XP stuff and everything related to grinding professions I care about...just a couple notes.
1. ID cannot be done AFK.
2. It takes longer than 2 hours. You can do it in a few hours, *if* you are paired up with someone who can do training for you or sit with you in front of the NPC trainer.
Folks were doing it in 2-3 hours during double XP week.
LIES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did it fom Novice Ent to Master ID, ON MY OWN on 1 hour 58 minutes ![]()

The reason FS grinders do Dancer instead of ID is that ID xp caps at 80k and dance xp caps at 900k. If they must do this..and apparently they think so..I do wish they would all gather up in one place. I think I'll start e-mailing them suggesting they go to Dath SO.
Ask a CSR to warp them to avatar.

not true at all.....unless you are talking from start of the column in entertainer and grinding it up. If you start the clock from novice id, it takes about an hour and fifteen minutes. (this is not double xp-omg that would be insane) I have done it twice now in that time. Once you get to where you can alter musculature, you can get xp every seconds if you are quick and ambidexterous lol. You simply hover the mouse over the arrow where you would click to alter somone'e muscle size, and hit you hotkey with your left hand, left click with your right hand, hit return with your left-you can get into a rythm and fly. It is actually kind of fun lol.
To answer an earleir question. Yes, you can grind ID to respec, and it is easier to do, but you can't do it afk, nor will it allow you to take a toon from scratch to a full elite combat prof, because it only needs one tree of a starter proff and all combat elites need two. Soooo, you can master ID, then dancer, and as much musician as you can get, and then respec to as near to 80 as you can get....not really sure how high you can do this as I haven't done this. Hope that answers your question.
Over the weekend, I had a thread on Chim asking about Inspiration buffs.
The encouraging thing was that a lot of players do get them when grinding.
However the vast majority get them from the AFK bots in Dant MO cantina. Dant is the grinding planet on Chim.
I have tried dancing in the cantina there in the past, but the spam is intolerable, even with blocking AFK spam. Trying to talk to the patrons is hopeless, they just want to get their buff asap and go.
Getting rid of AFKers probably won't cure this problem. Even if all the Ents there were ATK, patrons would still be in and out in as short a time as possible. But there is thehope that just one or two more might linger a little to chat.
