I applaud your thinking in this regaurd. Well thought out solutions. I epecially like the bath house idea.
Unfortunately I don't see how those solutions would help the profession.
Your solutions also seem to add to the problem that created the AFK phenomenon in the first place.
The problem I am speaking of is not enough entertainers to service the Galaxy. I have posted this before but I'll say it again. AFKing got started way back in the day of the first mass exodus (circathe bigCreature Handler Nerf), and suddenly there wasn't enough entertainers around to service the galaxe. I don't think most Dancers and musicians know just how important we are to the game. With enough mind wounds and Battlefatigue, a character just can't function. With enough battle fatigue, your HAMs stop refilling. So beceause of this there were large swathes of time where the game would dry up and blow away because there just weren't entertainers around to heal the combat mongers.
Without AFK entertainers, the same peoblem will exist beceause there just isn't enough people who are willing to sit in a cantina alone in the middle of the night waiting for somone to hurt themselves. I know several posters here in the Dancer's forum ARE dedicated enough to the profession to o that, but there just aren't enough to do the job.
Which brings me to your ideas. That solution could remove the AFK buffbots, but it will inconvienienve the heck out of the ATKers who don't want to have to do that and also leave even less entertainers around to serve the population, owing to the need to go take a bath.

Ummmm............
Why not make the profession fun to play so that there are more entertainers?
