I did have friends who offered to deliberately get mind wounds either by dueling or by sampling radioactive materials. I told each of them the same thing. Well when I ask my friends who are working on master how its going, and its the same thing for days on end, stuck at the same healing boxes, and nobody is coming to the cantina in Theed other than a few entertainers looking for xp too, I don't feel I'm cheating at all to log on my two alts with 4xxx medic and firing up thier quickheal macros. We can't those with wounds come to the cantina, many prefer to just go to the bot in the hotel. If the rest of the player base won't bring us wounds to heal we kinda need to make our own. I feel the same about tips too, I'm all about trying to empower my ent friends to make ends meet without tips, they dont want to need us, then its up to us to not need them either. But when buff bots go away, and they do need us, well, I don't think devs are going to nerf out indipendance of them, since most of us get by on harvesting resources, and secondary combat professions or alts ourselves.

Oh, and to whoever said it takes 4 days to master TKM, thats a load of crap. I leveled a toon from novice medic to master doc/TKM in less than 3 days.

I am wondering if mastering dancer legitimately should be as hard as it is. I really enjoy dancing and made it for most of the way without dancing AFK. I am now 4343 but the entertaining healer experience is just killing me. I have started to AFK dance at night even though I am against it. I have been working on dancer for about 6 weeks and it looks like I will have at least another 2 weeks to go before I knock out those last 2 healing boxes.

I know most combat professions can be mastered in a few days, but even "cheating" I.E. afk macroing, dancer is a pain to get xp with. I wonder if this is not one of the reasons we have so many AFKers, I mean the majority of AFK dancers are not Masters.

I really don’t feel like I have a right to criticize AFK'ers anymore since I am now going that route to try to finish my last 2 boxes. However I am still very much against the AFK buff bots who steal business from other dancers.

Are their others who feel the way I do and have been where I am? Would it cheapen dancer as a profession to lower the skill requirements a some?

I did it in 3 days legit, from novice ent to master dancer.
I don't understand the hussle..

By the time most of my dancer characters reached those last few healing boxes, I was pretty fed up with the cantina scene... so I just decided to let it come "naturally" and would heal friends when they got wounded or did a bit of buffing... and only visited a cantina occasionally. It took several months to finish those last boxes, but I did not regret that fact.

Which brings me back the point. Mastering Dancer "legitimately" doesn't take that long unless you go out of your way to make it take a long time.

Just a quick kudo for my guildies (<PACE> Chilastra) for going out of their way to bring me their mind wounds and BF. These guys are the best!
