Hmmm...not really sure what else to add to the list. One thing I think that is very helpful for me is have a nice female partner to dance with in the cantina. Any of the Exotics just look fantastic with a partner bandfloing together but when I'm dancing by myself it's just not nearly the same looks wise for a guy.
I'm Master Dancer/Entertainer and working on Master Musician. All I have left is my healing xp so it doesn't matter to me if I dance or play music but I have to say I tend to play more music if I don't have a partner to dance with, jamming with Elwyn is a blast too
I leave my Master Dancer tag up all the time hoping some nice female dancer will want to partner up but I hardly ever ask a woman to dance just because I know all the grief they take from men in there already and I don't want to come acrossed too forward.
More clothes wouldn't help me cause wellI'd just makemore wrong choices
I was told I'm not allowed to buy my own clothes anymore so I'm always looking for someone with fashion sense to give my money too
When I was trying to buy my own clothes the question was all too common..."soooooo you thought those two colorswent together?". Thank goodness for the black and white vendor

just having mastered Dancer, i will say that guys just dont look right doing the dances. I was told on more than one occasion that if I was a guy dancer i must be gay. Im not, Just wanted to be a dancer. All in all its not so bad better clothes would be nice. All the nice lady dancers helped me out alot. Not that im in this for the money, but I made a whopping 2002 credits in tips from novice ent to master dancer.
The people who say bad things about male dancers are teh same ones who made fun of the guy who took home economics in high school. One guy lots of pretty and very nice ladys? you do the math. I do find myself apologizing for my gender offten though

My number one complaint is the lack of clothes, but I guess a lot of people feel the same
I want a slave boy outfit NOW!
As far as the dances being more masculine...hmmm, I see nothing wrong with them unless you have your own personal issues. So maybe we could have a few that might work a little better to make it look like we are dancing WITH a partner. (say something like exotic lead/exotic partner, whatever)
As of late I haven't had too many issues with people being "homophobes" but, I have dealt with it. If anything, I have actually had a fair share of girls AND guys try to pick me up in the cantinas. Doesn't bother me either way since I'm an equal opportunity employer.
So, in closing, give me more clothes... I seriously want a slave boy outfit.

Give some dances that can actually look like you are partnering up to dance.... whoever your partner might be
and also, I'm single girls and guys... heheheheh.

Guys doing the dances don't look right to other guys. To women, they look....pardon me, I must go wipe up the drool. It doesn't look gay, it looks sexy. But a lot of guys can't tell the difference, especially if they're insecure about their own masculinity, as a lot of young boys are these days.

For what it's worth, here's a post I made in the tailor forum listing all the wanted clothing schematics I could think of/find. If you have any more ideas, please post them there as well as in here--perhaps the more exposure the ideas get, the more inclined Devs are to add things.

While I absolutely, whole-heartedly agree that men could definitely stand to have some more masculine-looking dances... nobody, but nobody, could ever say that Llane of Kettemoor looked ANYTHING but totally and masculinely hawt while dancing ANY dance. Partly due to his great fashion sense, of course...
Which brings to the agreement that the men need more clothing. A lot more clothing. Even non-dancer male friends ask me to help them find things to wear. I hate, HATE hotpants. On anyone.
And what's with the lack of male buffing clothes?
Ladies like seeing a well-dressed man to dance with just as much as the men like seeing well-dressed ladies. Anyone ever wonder how many of the devs with actual say are male...?

Well, I'm a guy but have a female dancer/entertainer. I started with my main toon as a musician but eventually dropped it due to the flood of buffbots that took over the cantinas on Radiant. The female entertainer was going to be an experiment, just to see how she got treated in comparison to my male entertainer. World of difference there is.
My male musician had a small group of fans and for a quite some time the only entertainer in Bestine's cantina. I got decent tips for actually entertaing patorns (cracking jokes and having fun with people). Whenever a female dancer showed up, most people tipped her for dancing andI got pretty much ignored (even though I was ATK the whole time). Needless to say, my career in music ended pretty quickly.
As for my female dancer, well, people go out of their way to help her. I got tipped 100k one night because I was a novice entertainer and didn't have much money for clothes. I was given some very nice outfits to wear by a few tailors as well. It doesn't matter how much or how little I wear with her, she gets a lot attention. I do the same things with her that I did with my male musician (talk, tell jokes, flirt all ATK) and she made more in 1 night then he could in 4 months. Go figure.
I have some different playstyles with them. My male toon enjoys watching female Twi'leks and Zabraks dance and play music more than any other race. I listen to male and female musicians when I can (haven't seen very many male dancers on Radiant that weren't AFK FS grinding). As for my female...well...she enjoys watching a good looking male dancing as well as a good looking female dancer. The only sights I've seen that I just couldn't bear to watch without cracking up are wookie dancers doing the exotic dance and a tandoshan in an exotic leotard.

Geez, for love of Force,
Let men talk for once about themselves.. You deciding and planning everything for us and we then discussing why we are looking feminen while dancing.
Let men talk about their clothing, let men talk about dancing on themselves.
We don't really give apoodoo how do you want us to look. We don't care to flirt with pixelarated toons. This is a proffession, not a randesvous house. We want to look as we want.. We want to dance as we want.. Now, ladies, move along from this topic.

On the other hand, as rude as he was, he does have a point. The thread does say "no girls allowed." I did not mean to offend, and I apologize.

You know, I don't beleive I've made a comment on this thread until now, but I couldn't let this go unchallanged. I know for a factthat Roho cares a great deal about how Ilike him to look. Most of the guys I know who are dancers and/or musicians care how women look at them and how they look to women.
By all means, discuss your wants as far as clothing and dances go, but don't slap us women in the face becausesome of usdare to speak out about how we perceive your "pixelated(sp) toons". After all, guys don't seem to have a problem telling us how they want us to look! Welcome to our world . . . . . .
