Will the entertainer professions be recieving actual FUNsolo game play content in the form of interactive (between player and computer)play ?

Will player driven dancers (ie those actually pressing buttons to operate their characters) be needed in the game economy?

1. ETA on new motion-captured dances/flourishes. (Emphasis on motion-captured;after seeingwhat the art team managed to do with the formal and poplock flourishes, I would rather stick with what we've got than get "new" flourishes that are so ugly as to be unusable.)

2. Will we ever be able to mind-buff ourselves?

3. Will there be any system changes that will allow us to receive more information about our mind buffs? (i.e., messages that let us know who's watching us, when the buff is ready, and how long it will last)

4.Will falling be removed for Master Dancers?

5.Will the "holding weapons prevents falling" bug be fixed? (I used to not mind this one so much, but lately I've become increasingly annoyed with the number of flailing sticks, swords, knives and guns in the cantinas. They look good as props with some of the dances, but for the most part they're just tacky!)

1. Props--Will we be seeing such things made available to hold while performing that are not
just weapons-related?

2. Content--Will there be more active content for the entertainer classes to participate in?
(Such as making Jabba's Throne Room work like a cantina; missions involving
having to visit an NPC battle, you and your combat friends take out one side

1. How will dancer buffs be able to compete with drugs and the chef revamp? A Master Doctor can buff over 3kabove the normal pool for the other stats, why are dancers limited to 2x the normal mind pool? Also, when will a timer be implemented so we don't look like jerks when explaining buffs to customers?

2. Is there an ETAfor new dances or flourishes for existing dances and fixes for the random wrong dance flourishes (lyrical switching to footloose, so on)?

3. When will the "hold something and you won't fall" bug be fixed? I'm tired of seeing everyone dancing with a sword. Also, is there any chance of lessening the frequency of masters falling?

4. When will missions adjust to skill level and pay enough to consider taking the time to do them?

5. Will /denyfaction or /denyguild type features ever be implemented?

6. Is there any way to make /say an invalid macro term? I know this isn't exactly a "dancer" profession question, but it affects all entertainers, and everyone who watches us.

Those are all the questions I have. The most pressing to me is the buff issue. People will say over and over on the boards that they'd rather have a dancer buff than eat food, but then I see all of my guildmates popping Muon and then eating Fishak during the downer, and there I sit alone in the Cantina. There must be a better way, more powerful buffs, or some other perk that can make it worthwhile for someone to sit and wait 6 or so minutes to get the buff.

I would like a command that we can use to have a whole group of dancers start the same dance at the same time. Synchrone dancing looks great, and a whole band of dancers could also hire themselves out at parties....

You know it! AND . . .

Last night in our sleepy little city of Costa del Sol on Dantooine, my guild and the civil leaders held our first musicfest/hunting party event. Although it was slow going at first, by 9 pm we had quite a cantina full of beings dancing, playing music and getting healed and entertained. All that to say we also had a visit from a dev! He only stayed for about 5 minutes (naturally, it was toward the beginning when we didn't have an audience yet) but I think he got the idea of how difficult it can be to coordinate group dance moves - even the base dance line. Leivi and I tried several times while he was there and couldn't get in step. Now, about 10 minutes later when Javier and Shianse arrived we were finally able to start synchronizing - but hey, who couldn't with the likes of them?

Anyway! I now feel that there may actually be a new hope (pun intended) for the entertainment profession! The dev didn't come out to see the hunting party - they were already gone. He came to see the music event. Did he ask questions? No . . . Did we pummell him with comments and questions or our own? No. We were all very cordial and cooperative and let him know we appreciated his time and consideration. And he was very considerate, as well. I only wish now that I could edit some of my previous post . . .

Raven, you are doing a smashing job of keeping the entertainment profession in focus for the devs and I do hope everyone appreciates the work and effort you put into this. I think it will be difficult to kull out only 5 more questions from the lists you've received so far, though . . . There are still a lot of issues regarding the haphazard way the entertainment group is being run, perceived and treated. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

Yay for devs coming to see an ent event! Also yay for Ravenmist for getting more attention and sticking to it!

1. Male dancers need some love. If anything came out of the holo grinders it was that. They need some masculine options for base dances, flos, and dance clothing. Is this being looked into any?

2. Falling is bad. Can we make it go away?

3. Group control over change dance, start and stop. Can we please have it?

4. Contol over who is getting healed by your dancing and a list that we can view. Either make it a toggle so that you can set yourself to heal everyone and deny individualy or deny by default and only add to a list (by name or faction or anything else). Giving us control over this would make things so much nicer. Some kind of buffing indicator display would really be nice too.... showing both time the buff will last and how much it's being raised as it's happening (like you can see doc buffs ticking up). Are these going to happen?

5 -10. Bugged theaters? Healing xp out of whack (it sure seems like it)? More defences or other combat related bonuses at master or even lower? More anims and more unique anims? I can't remember what made it on to the real first 5 Q's but all of these are good and I think we all keep saying the same things.

(Didn't mention afk dancing b/c I think they'll make us wait until after the holo changes or we'll just get a "changes to the Jedi system will greatly reduce this problem" response. )

On test, "Added visual buff icons to Doctor enhancements and performance mind buffs"... woot! Ok, yay, so ignore that part.... still holding out for control over who I'm healing though.

Find out if and when they will do something to deal with the AFK problem (best solution is still no XP while AFK).

This is the first time I have posted to this forum, because I haven't been able to get in. And I am using my game husbands account to do it.

1. Holo's dancers are truely a pain. I worked hard to become a master dancer and tend to stay away from the public cantinas now because of holo dancers. I get tired of hearing how boring and terrible it is, if you don't like it don't do it. Will this be corrected? Although, I want to point out about afk/macro dancing....I was acussed of this when I was nearly to master and frankly it remains a thorn in my side. I never did because to this day I have never figured out how to use a macro. I mastered both Dancer and Tailor without macros. So who do you all think should police for afk/macro dancers? Will the group leader be kicking people or the system be kicking people? I know of at least one PA on my server that is using accusations of afk and macro dancing as a way of griefing people in public cantinas.

2. Can we see some faction missons for entertainers please, some of us don't have fighting skills and don't want them, but want to maintain our faction standing.

1) new dances/flourishes;

2) fix player theatres;

3) give us some worthwhile missions, or at least fix the payout. The current dancer missions are a slap in the face;

Looking at the pending patch/upgrade reports it appears there will be some soft of visual buff report, something makes me think this will be more Doctor oriented however. I would love a visual that would let me know how the buff is going, am I floing enough, not enough, does FX make a diff,a report to let me us know the buff is done.

New steps to the dances (3 flos for the exotic4?, and whats with flos 5-8 on exotic3 ??)

Fix the hand animated last 4 flos on lyrical

New dances (that might be asking too much)

A way to sync the start of the dance base step with fellow dancers (Kirah and i use a countdown macro it helps, but its still not the answer.

Yes!! lets get rid of the Holocron Entertainers, I do this because I enjoy it. (as should everyone in all professions)

This falling thing has to stop (everyone thinks I'm a warmonger holding my trusty little dagger all the time.

What exactly does register location do? (shouldnt it tell where we are currently performing?)

Lastly how about some new shoes! The ones I've been dancing in are killing my feet
