Personally.. I would perferwe push for making the now passive Genreal Buff active too. (thus removeing any passive buffs)
This would fix most problems.
If they make the General Buff active too then the only aditional"teaching" wewould have todo would be telling people how to"Speed buff" by watching two perfromers.
I think thats best.. and it will still keep buffs fairly simple

I agree making the general buff active will fix most of this. It won't happen becuase then the combat crowd will be forced to *gasp* interact to ask us for their buff but we can ask for the change and see if we catch a dev off guard.
