I'm happy about the changes. I've just gotten into a blue funk lately. My level of trust with the devs is at an all time low because of the terrible communication they have with us.
I can't wait to be able to do lyrical and formal and theatrical and have them actually LOOK good! And getting rid of that dratted 15 second timer is wonderful. As is the timers for ID and the reduction of skill points. Roho is working toward Master ID so this will help him (and my hair) out tremendously.
I just hope that this will not be "it". . . .

OK here are the dance files. Obviously they have a lot of stuff mo-capped and why they can't just implement all of it is..well...probably some PR issue. They gotta string us along. 
Then again, some are better than others.
When you download these, please right-click and choose "save as." Don't stream them from my server. Hopefully I have enough bandwidth to keep these up at least until the dances hit TC.
And mad props to Kyorlana for FTP-ing all of these to my server! YAY!

Okay, it's official, I will sell my soul for Tatooine Jazz. I could put together such a great number with that and a version of "All That Jazz" I sing from time to time.
The dances we are getting look great too. Having been a cheerleader and done gymnastics in high school, I'm especially fond of tumble.

Yes, Tumble looks cool. ^_^ I wish we could get an ETA on the dances we aren't getting

The real thanks though goes to the guy who put all this together. Hopefully he will come and identify himself without fear of retribution for hacking the files.

Hacking?! Me, with my reputation? I'm shocked.
I have the break dancing video but it's 7 minutes, 19 seconds long and 27.5 Mb at the same quality level (WMV9 512K). It has the 3 break dances (i.e. 3 different flo sets along with some other nice mo caps that go along with the dances.) Can I upload this to you too Groovy? If so, just PM me the ftp details. Here is my original post about the videos btw.

Ah my bad. I read Kyorlana's post as saying she only had the original break dance video I did and not the new longer one, but "breakdance2" was the full length one. I didn't download any of yours as, well I already have all the videos myself, including the Adobe Premier projects. But I did just download the start and it looks like the right version.
To clear up the confusion then, you do have everything I did. There was another break dance video but it was only one of the positions. I did it first as a proof of concept sort of thing and then replaced it with the full legth version which was named "breakdance2" as it lived in the same folder. If you want to save on hosting let me know though and I can reencode them to a different quality level. Otherwise, you already have it all.

I wonder which parts of that breakdance stuff we're going to get then? I see three different base loops, three different flo sets and two transitions, yet we're only billed as getting breakdance and breakdance2...hope they haven't decided to leave all the rest of it out!

It may not be ready yet and we will get it as breakdance three when the rest of them are ready.

I was curious about the three positions myself. A friend of mine guessed that we might get all three. With upcoming interface changes and whatnot, he thinks it could be possible Breakdance is a prototype dance testing more variety with dances and whatnot, hence the different positions. Sounds interesting. Would be cool if it was true.

Those are cool... however, with both the Breakdance and the Pei Yi videos, it would play about 3/4th of the way through, then say that the file is corrupted and shut down on me.
