Thread: Entertainer droids?
well , as you know... buffing is hastened by using the special effects (the equation probably involves action burnt...) If these things helped me buff faster I'd get one.
..and put an egg timer in the things brain to tell me when we hit 2 hours.
The added effects would be nice but I'd love to have a droid that can play music for those far out of the way cantina's where there are no musicians. I just hate dancing in a cantina where there's no music.
Also, I hope they fix the way that droids and other pets now stand exactly where you are standing when you tell them to "follow". It is very annoying and they didn't do that before the last patch. Doctors sure do look silly with their arms, legs and head sticking out of a droid.
It certainly wouldn'tnot enhance one's performance.

I'm a Creature Handler, so I know that the CH community is up in arms about the new pet placement (if you thought Dancers whined a lot, you should see the CH forum whine; they gripe about every little tiny thing and swear the entire game is suffers from envy, jeez).
But there is a promise that this fix will be in place. I'm sure it'll be in place before we even get our Entertainment droids.
And there is that "Stay" command. You can also use "Column" and "Wedge" to get pets/droids off you.

I'm a Droid Engineer on Naritus. I dropped in to see what you guys were talking about in respect to the entertainment module because I'm trying to guage how welcomed and marketable these new modules will be.
One question I saw in here a couple times is: "Will we still be able to have storage?" The answer is yes. Even a lower-end droid, like an advanced MSE droid, can take more than one module. A Master Droid Engineer would be able to give you 10 items of storage in one module, and your entertainment effects in the other module. It would probably sell for less than 5k.
that currently don't serve any function unless you have 300 action.......... I rather see the team put more time into creating new music and dances and even a a group dancing system (bandflourish works great but we need better :smileyindifferent
