Thread: Regarding Tipping
for certain people who haveyet to read the forum rules the second reads as:

I've met a few others like this guy too but not nearly as many as you have from the sound of things. Don't loose hope tho! Hang in there Bendial! Once you get into a real band/troupe and get out of that **edit** starter town things will start getting better. And once many of the cantina's are player run will get better still! The male dancers are rare but you will be hugely appreciated by the females in the game and other female dancers. Give them someone to dance with and who cares what jelous assholes think? They're sitting at their table drooling over the female dancers while you get to hang out with them and make good friends, who knows, maybe more. <winks>
Right now is a tough time for dancers and musicians both, but things will get better.
I've met 14 year old that are VERy mature. I've met 40 year olds that are not as emotionally mature as my 17 year old son.

Wow Sisters...you seem to have some serious anger issues.
If you don't want to tip then don't.
If you don't want to carry on a conversation then don't. Although I enjoy a good stimulating conversation on a whole range of topics including philosophy, science, literature and poetry...just no engineering since I do too much of that as it is.
If you don't like posts about tipping entertainers then WHY even read them? Let alone why come here and engage in a thread about them?
Like I said, seems you have an anger issue and like to pick fights. If you need the attention just come into the cantina...we'll give you all the attention you deserve. *smiles nicely*
This is why we need that "bounce" command. 
I agree to an extent though. I've been dancing since Beta and tip beggers drive me nuts too, as do the ones who think that essentially harrassing the customer is RP'ing. I also understand the grief against AFK macroers (I frikkin' despise them myself) so yeah, I see where the original poster is coming from. But we're not all like that. However, if the bounce command ever gets implemented, we would be able to put you on lists to deny services though, so tossing a few credits to your local dancer might be a good idea.

18.......stupider.......now someone answer me this question, don't most people stop using the word stupider once their mental levels reach around the fourth or fifth grade? I just had to add to the flame on this one, just cracked me up too much.
You notice tho all she had to say to me was a simple flame and I'm not a kid, I'm 18 so there.
LoL.. 18 isn't very old, but thats not what matters, its just like Flawed said on that one. I just find it funny he had no real arguement or comeback for any of the actual points. Pretty much just what I'd expect.
Oh and I will make a few corrections and clear a thing or two up. When I said they can get their own stuff for free I meant one of two ways. People give materials as tips or survey/sample. Survey/Sample costs time tho so not exactly free. However, since they get exp to put toward medical skills for making the things its not exactly like its a waste of thier time either.
And on our skills, far as action costs go. Its every 15 seconds not 30 seconds that we get a large cost for just dancing, flourishes or no, and flourishes themselves seem to get up to close to 30 per flourish. Oh and the cost for dancing every 15 seems to go up into about the 60's.. all said in done at high skill levels about 100 action per 15 seconds if actively flourishing. Not counting techniques such as smoke bomb and distract which if used regularly can drain you faster then a rock sinking in water.
Anyway, be intresting to see if the "18 year old" actually can find a good point to come back with.
