I would seriously question your competence as a correspondent if you sticky two useless threads. That really is not very appropriate.
Hmm, I don't remember any instructions being given on Sticky guidelines outside of the Corr Forum... which I don't think you've ever even seen since you aren't a blue tag, so I'm thinking it would be pretty hard for you to know what's appropriate. It is common sense. I moderated forums for a small time...If I had a 'correspondent' putting things up like that, they would be gone. You really believe that two useless threads deserve to be put at the top of a forum, indicating that they are important, and forcing all users to scroll past it?
Also, (and see, I do know this, because I was schooled on the art of the sticky when I was a corr) it goes pretty much by the community mood what is appropriate... and most of us who actually post as a part of this community think that Eshie's extra stickies are funny. Most of the communityis afraid to post here because they are not a part of your clique. Funny or not, find another forum where things like this happen.
As for Eshie not being a good corr, what are you smoking? She has gotten results for us that RM, Deila, and myself (the only other DCs we've ever had) would have loved to bring for this community. Eshie kicks butt as DC and I'm so glad we got her. I never said he or she was not a good correspondent..I said this kind of absurdness is uncalled for.
She said she was going to redo the stickies on Friday, chill the heck out. /glare I'll take your word for it and check back then!

I believe you missed the part where I said I browse these forums a lot...I had my own Dancer that I played on at the keyboard for a long time now..almost from the start.

You also said you questioned her competence. That seems like you were saying she wasn't a good correspondent.

OMG I have to scroll down another inch to get to the nonstickied stuff Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh.
I dunno about anyone else but I would far prefer to have a correspondent that gets things done, makes our voice heard and lifts us downtrodden dancers up than have a sparkling clean sticky area. But, yanno, that's just me being all clique-ish, I'm sure.
It's funny how you act like it's nothing. Let me elaborate for you...every time I load that page, I have to scroll...every single person who loads that page has to scroll. A new player looking for information has to scroll. Furthermore, that little bit of information that we are now replying to requires bandwidth to load...perhaps we should multiply that against the hundreds of users that are downloading it...becomes a bit more important then. Then maybe address database space...not just this post and the other one, but many others...quite useful!
Anyhow, yes you are a part of 'the clique,' I can already tell. Reading here sometimes is like sitting down in a highschool cafeteria and watching as the one group of 'cool kids' excludes the rest. I'm being 100% honest when I tell you that there are players that will never post here again because of a)how they were treated, b)what they saw, c)they know some of you in-game.

You said that? Really?
Yes, I did, please try reading.
Anyway, I fail to see how having fun relates to putting worthless things on a forum...but I guess that is beyond my comprehension. Also, there is a difference between having fun with friends and socializing, and forming a rather small clique that is, without a doubt, quite rude. If this is what you want a new player to see, I am quite afraid.
I come here prettyoften, and I hardly ever say anything, but I do so love reading things like these stickies.Good for you. Perhaps you should try understanding that is what PMs, private forums, and other means of communication are for.

See the problem I'm talking about? Can I at least ask what's being served in the cafeteria tomorrow? Or is there a waiting list to speak to everyone?

Seriously. Stop trying to lord your enlightened presence over us. We're a group of fun loving people who try not to take the game, or themselves, too seriously. Having a couple of extra stickied threads isn't the end of the world. You need to keep things in perspective, I think.
