I am under the impression there is a new batch of AFKers on Starsider. Theed and Mos Eisley were full of AFKers last time I went in.

The population of AFKers was declining after the CU and seems to gain new vitality nowadays.

I also wonder if it's not linked to new players arriving (Total Experience) more than to the rebuild of a "bot base" betting on future usefulness of entertainers (as nothing was announced)

I rarely go to public cantinas now. I am tired to be overwhelmed by a swarm of AFKers and beggars.

Chali
Quiet Master Dancer on Starsider... Guilds, you built a city and placed a cantina ? Use it and stop going elsewhere or raze your cantina, it's pointless !!!

I have a couple of alts on Starsider, and the afk population of both popular cantinas has indeed skyrocketed. I avoid Theed, because there's really nothing there for me, but I do check out Eisley fairly frequently.

I think the increase there might have more to do with the Total Experience and huge numbers newbies getting dropped off there. Every time I get off the shuttle into Eisley, some bozo asks me if I have a BARC speeder. I hear that newbie NPC getting talked to all the time, and there's an overabundance of people wearing the newbie uniforms.

I wonder if they've updated the literature about exactly what an entertainer can do... from a game mechanics standpoint? Do you think they all expect to make a killing healing battle fatigue?

I went to MO last night and instead of 5 AFKers there was...... nobody. One AFK novice dancer in the corner. So much for the music and insp. buff.

Went all the way to Theed to get my buff. About 30 people in there (my computer actually lagged :smileysurprised But by that time, I didn't feel like what I had originally set out to do. I'd like to be able to sit and converse with a player every once in a while.

Found a lone musician three days ago In Daeric ATK! I was so impressed, I stayed, talked and gave him a good amount of money.
