Last night I was on my bike (mounted) on the side of a hill, and when I opened the radial menu on it, the dismount and store options were disabled because I was "too far away from it".

I've had this bug for the past week and a half.

At first it only happened during dance...I could still play music. Then it hit music too.

This morning I logged in and everything was fine.

Maybe they finally took care of it? I had been logged off for two days though.

After the patch 6-8 /listen and /watch seem to be fine. We had the grand opening of Imaji's cantina that evening so I guess the dev's realized it needed fixing pronto!

Yes! Last night not one person announced that they could not /watch or /listen to us, and this was 20to 30 people. Where for the previous few days no one could...at all

woohoo!

I'm so glad you had a night free of the bug! Unfortunately, I still had a couple of reports ofit last night so it is still with us. Or with them rather..

No, it hasn't gone away completely yet. Last night I was helping someone earn some EH XP with a /watch /stopw macro and I still noticed the "too far away" message once in a while even though my target was right next to me. It seemed like the /watch was working most of the time, though, and I've seen the "too far away" bug where nothing you do seems to get rid of it so maybe they've done something to lessen it.

It happens to me all the time when ever I am overt, I cant watch or listen...but if I am covert or on leave I can watch or listen just fine.

This also happens to the rest of the people in my guild

That brings up an interesting point. People..when someone tells you that they're unable to /watch or /listen to you (too far away), see if you can make note of their faction status at the time. Notthe entertainer's status..but the other player's.

Interessting idea, but if someone can't listen to me, then somehow noone can, no matter of their faction.
I'm always on leave, and neither rebels, neutrals nor imperials can listen/watch me

The situations where I've had people report "too far away" while watching me have all been limited to one or two out of several watching or when only one person has been trying to /watch. I've not had the experience of everyone not being able to. Another example of how elusive this one is.
