Both Dancer and Musician boards have stickies at the topfor ingame contacts who can and will be happy to buff. Also many galaxys have Ent chat channels (check local listings for the correct time and station) so you can find out where we are. You can use this until our registration gets fixed. Hope it helps.

Maybe you should take the trouble to post this for each server on their server boards. Very few people will find this list when its hidden on a profession board.

As a Master Dancer I can suggest a few reasons why this might be the case, and it has nothing to do with disinterest or hostility. For one thing in a crowded cantina, we're bombarded with various messages - spatial chat, group chat, possibly tells, guild chat, or even other channels. It may be difficult for us to notice a request for a buff in spatial chat as those messaages often scroll by the fastest. Another problem may even be a professional politeness among entertainers. Some of us may go to a cantina specifically to sell buffs, while other times we may go there simply to relax a bit, practice our craft, or socialize with others, and we may not be specifically seeking opportunites to give buffs. There are times that I will have my Master Dancer tag up, but I choose not to respond to a buff request simply to allow another entertainer in the area to take the opportunity if they so choose. I don't know whether you have tried this or not, but I would suggest simply repeating your request a few times before giving up. I know that if I see a request for a buff go unanswered I will then check with that person and offer my services if desired. Another thing to do is to try sending a tell to any entertainer that seems to be active. For me tells are a great way to have messages stand out over the noise of a crowded area so that I notice the request, and I also tend to feel a little more flattered that someone has specifically requested my services out of the crowd and am more likely to be accomodating of a buff request. In general I have to say that most live ents are doing what they do because they want to help out and participate. Mostly what we expect in return is respect, perhaps a little patience, and if we've made your gaming experience a little more enjoyable, a nice tip to show that we are appreciated. The one thing that no buffbot in the game can give you, is that personal touch.

No longer a Master Dancer because the musician buff was much more useful?? If it's just a buff bot why not provide both as that's actually more useful?

I am happy to announce the buff bot I had encountered on my server is gone. I'm certain there are others but I've not seen them.

One star bandit strikes this thread.

I gave 90% of the posts here 5 stars to make up the difference. If I forgot someone, I apologize, let me know, and I'll rectify the situation if I can. Altho, it's a pain in the ass to 5 star everyone when the servers are slow and wonky.

Which, of course, begs the question...who the hell is that annoying and devoid of a life that they go around one starring people all the time? Have you nothing better to do?

I know, I know, there's an option to turn 'em off, but I still like them.

I hate, hate, hate one-star bandits. I had one for a while that one-starred EVERYTHING I WROTE. If it weren't for Ilere sending me a wonderful PM telling me to keep smiling, and her going through about four pages of my posts and five-starring me, I probably would not be posting anymore. Well, and I turned the ratings off again, which made me much saner. LOL

Wow, somebody has it out for me. LOL. I actually went in and played the game for about 7 hours, came back to read the forums and saw a lot of my posts, very innocuous posts I might add, have been one starred. My 4.1 average rating has gone all the way down to 3.7. (Yes, I check because I find these things interesting)...my list of "posts made" have all been one starred!

Hahahaha...somebody really has absolutely nothing better to do with their lives than actually take the time out to search out my posts and one star them all.

Nice to know I have garnered that much attention.
