But I can understand where the dancer comes from....
Being a pretty entertainer doesn't mean we want to be hit on... Even if we get tips or everything..
Here, it's really the sentence 'if you forget about it' that did it I think...
But let me tell youthings that happened to me this weekend
1) I'm dancing/buffing at the MO. Well, I wanted to go hunting, but someone asked me for a buff, and since I was in a solo group, I invited people in the group to come and get a buff if they wanted. At a point, a guy send me a tell
him : You're pretty
me : *blush* thank you
him : Would you want us to be friends
me : Sure :-) But just want to tell you I'm married...
him : Oh, okay, sorry
me : Why are you sorry?
him : No awnser...
2) him : You look hot, would u marry me?
me : he.. no.. sorry
3) As a ID on my other serveur
him : Could you change my hair color
me : Sure (doing the job)
him : *tip thanks *lick
me : please, would you not do that?
him : *lick *kiss *lick *kiss
me : *slap *they are limits....
Him : *slap *lick *kiss
I'm not generalizing here.. But those really happened to me this weekend...
They are nice people that are out there, and that like to socialise and all. But yes, entertainers get hit on, and some have more trouble to deal with it. I know I don't mind doing some flirting, but I don't want people to imagine they can go out with me. I'm married on both serveur, and I'm happy that way. And it's not because someone tips me that they have the right to use me the way they want (aka 3) here...)

It happens, no question. Proof can be found on this forum dating back to the opening of the game. There are all kinds of behavior that people can get away with in a virtual community that they'd never get away with in real life. We cannot change that, and playing this game, especially as a female, especially as an attractive female, and especially if you play as a scantily dressed attractive female dancer, means that you will get unwanted attention from time to time.
No one will blame you for going off on people that harass ya. But what was stated on this thread goes both ways...beware generalizations. Beware prejudice. Just because some men harass you doesn't mean all men bear you ill will, and if you walk through life that way, looking at all men as potential harassers and putting up emotional walls and defenses against every male you meet, you'll probably never give the good guys a chance.
