Socializer 66%

Achiever 46%

Killer 46%

Explorer 40%

I dance because I love to. I dance because I can chat with others and RP somewhat. I love to wow people and show off. I also like to talk *laugh*. And because of that I never log whenI sayI'm going to.I like for people to remember me when they leave the cantina and look for me again when they come back. Even though I don't dance publicly much anymore due to trying to raise my pistol skill I still love to do it when I can stop in the cantina. And I love when people ask me where I am so they can come see me dance.

Now that killer at 46% ... I didn't used to be like that lol.. until my friends handed me a weapon and drug me out into the wild. I didn't think I would ever pick up a weapon in this game but I did and I love it. I also think it scares people when I kill them in PvP with my Master Dancer title over my head

Test result- SEA, Socializer 100%, Explorer 66%, Achiever 33%, Killer 0%.

I'm here to dance, chat, dance, chat, and then dance some more. I also enjoy crafting stuff, so I have some artisan skills... but primarily I'm here for the socialization.

I really don't care about combat. I only earned my marksman skills because I wanted to be able to defend myself if attacked when running from point A to point B.

LOL!

That was one of the questions on the test too... that question was made for you. :-)

Socializer 73%, Explorer 66%, Achiever 40%, Killer 20%... lloks like I fall right in line with the average of this thread.

I started out intending to play a Amazon-Type Creature Handler... thought that would be kinda neat... started dancing and never turned back. This is the first game that has allowed for me to have a character that is not "all about the killing" and still be a lot of fun to play. I've made Master Dancer and I've traded in my CH skills but kept the scout skills, as well as adding survey and now working my way up the pistolier tree.

I spend my days scouting and mining, working on my pistol skills a bit as i do, and at the end of the day I head out to the nearest cantinato dance, unwindand chat with whoever is there... now I ask you... what could be more fun?

Looks like I'm the first Achiever to respond. My Bartle was AES, which it says only 4% of respondents are: Achiever 93%, Explorer 53%, Socializer and Killer both at 26%. And yet I have two dancers out of four characters. I started the second dancer because the first is male and I wanted a female dancer to see how different I get treated. The answer is a LOT different. It's very strange, because mostly I play female characters (I am female!) and I don't see much difference when I'm playing fighter types or my creature handler, etc. But get out on the dance floor and it's a whole different story. My female dancer is getting gobs of tips and attention--more attention than I really want in a lot of cases--while my male dancer might as well be invisible most of the time. I play them pretty much exactly the same too.

I socialize more when dancing than I do in any other part of the game, which may be why I enjoy it so much. It's not something I ordinarily do so it's fun because it's different. Also, of course, my major achiever side is very, very interested in making those dancing levels! As for explorer, I just realized while I was thinking about this that my male dancer seems to be working on dancing at every cantina in the galaxy. Sure, all cantinas look alike, but the clientele is different in every one.

I'm not sure why anymore. At first it was because I was getting a lot of encouragement from the other dancers. And because I wanted to be unique as one of the few male master dancers. And because I wanted to be able to surprise people.

But lately, it's beginning to wear. The attention is almost too much at times (seriously).

Very close social interaction of entertaining in SWG can harbor certain problems with disassociation of real life feelings fromrole-played feelings. In reality, the two are very rarely separated. As a result, strong emotions should never ever be introduced in the game environment, in my opinion. The problem I have is that there are several people who I regularly meet in the cantinas who have not made that separation and the (unintentional) harassment is a huge deterent for me to dancing. So much so that there is very little I can do without hurting the other people's RL feelings unless I just leave (which I have for a period of time).

Has anyone else had this problem?

Interesting...I ended up SEA, but what I found intresting was that my list included Han-Henrik, whom I met and conversed with a lot while MUDing in college...

I started out as an artisan. It can be very tedious at times and I thought it wouldbe fun to get out of the kakis, put on a nice dress and go dance at the club for a nice break. Of course with advancement comes cooler dances so I had to advance. I had fun socializing and at the time I was making friends and being showered with tips so it was quite easy to take more and more breaks from crafting and spend more and more time dancing. I was never really concerned about the healing aspects, I danced to socialize and have a good time. As I need more skills points, I may be inclined to keep coreographer and drop all the other trees as I really only wanted to dance from an RP aspect, I don't care if I heal anyone. I dance for me. I don't care about the tips as they have dropped off considerable with the nerfed economy and I mine and craft for my credits.

I started up an entertainer character because I'd tried one in beta and enjoyed it fairly well - enough to create a second entertainer after a character wipe, and mostly because the entertainers in my PA started up an organized band, doing performances and coordinated songs/dances, and it looked like too much fun to not be in.
I'm not terribly good at socializing, I usually sit there, and then keep half an eye on cantina-goings on while I browse the internet on my laptop, and I'll refrain from complaining too much about the intelligence, maturity levels, and general language skills of a good portion of cantina folks... because you guys are cantina folks.

What interested me was the coordination of a performance with other skilled entertainers... putting on a good show, and making it look good. I'm doing Master Ent/Dancer/Musician so that I can have all the forms of entertaining available to me, so I can do whatever role is needed of me in performance.

Um whats a MUD exactly? I took the test not even knowing what it stands for.

Bounty hunter, since the days we had to master marksmen and scout and investigation three missions where worth 129 investigation exp and the mark was never there. Plus there were no mounts or bikes, we walked damnit! And we liked it (well, not really, barely made enough money to cover shuttle costs and keep the equipment in good order)
