I've been a master dancer for a couple of months now and still hold to the "tip what you think is fair" ideal. Do I get stiffed? Yes. I've even had fellow PA members "forget" to tip me (yes, I am being kind here . . . ). On the other hand, just last night someone tipped mequite handsomely before I even started the buff. I've had players tip me beforehand and then tip me more after. And I've had new players apologize because they couldn't tip very much at all. I've gotten tips I wasn't even aware of until I looked in my inventory some time later . . .

For about a week after making masterI did set a rate - 5k. It lasted until I had one new player respond with a "Wow . . . that much?" I decided at that point I would no longer ask a set amount.

That being said, you have to do what you think is best for you. If setting a rate is what you need to do, don't feel badly about it. Different servers, different planets - even different cantinas - require different tactics.

Thanks to Vasarian Brandy I am now the town drunk and ONLY go to the AA meetings to brag about the killing spree done during my drunken rage.

Demand travel expenses

This I would require up front - travel expenses. However, I have never had to travel to give a buff - I've never even had anyone suggest it. My clients always come to me.
