Thread: I just don't get you all
If you're on lowca, send me or another BABE a /tell or email and i'm sure we can accomodate your needs on a hunt. Our standard rate is 5k/entertainer/hour, which may sound like a lot, but includes party mindbuffs & all the healing you need!
If you're not on Lowca... why not???!! hehe
Seriously though, on another note... founding this Entertainer's PA was the best thing i ever did in this game. On the Lowca boards, BABE received quite a few votes for "top 3 PA's on Lowca" and that rocks. Not one person had anything bad to say about us.
i highly reccomend to all the entertainers out there on other galaxies to band together and create an Entertainer's PA... give your galaxy one place to go for entertainment, whether its for parties, weddings, or hunts... most on Lowca know to contact BABE. If you're good to us, we'll be good to you ![]()

The reason that entertainers are not outside of the cantina?
Easy....
They don't get asked to go hunting with anyone else.
At least from what I've seen on Kettemoor, unless you have a fighting skill.
ahaha
I think for a lot of people, it has to do with what they enjoy in the game. Don't second guess everyone and assume they're just miserable because they have to sit in the cantina. Running around with the meatheads shooting innocent animals is not everyone's idea of fun.
Oh, and player houses work just like a cantina. ![]()

I dont know if buffs are possible outside of the cantina but I doubt it. So every ability an entertainer has (but wound healing and actually entertaining) is not possible outside of the cantina. You are quite inactive all the time till someone opens a camp and you heal the wounds within 30 seconds...
Actually you're incorrect. Mind buffs can be applied in a camp. It's particularly nice since you can apply it to the whole group in one shot. I've got my normal hunting group mostly trained to automaticallystart watching me in camp while we're refreshing doctor buffs or healing. Our doctor will insist upon having the buff before trying anything dangerous.
well... I'm a master dancer / novice commando. No one has *ever* asked me to join their group because im a master dancer (on Endor, Dantooine or Dath.) In fact I have to advertise myself as a novice commando to get in groups. People just aren't interested in what a dancer can do in the battlefield... which is fine by me.
Second... if a dancer isn't master then they have to get exp. If they are looking for experience - you won't get it healing mind wounds in a group of fighters as much as sitting in a cantina getting multiplied expierence from everyone flourishing and healing a ton of folks. I think that's how they designed the game to turn cantinas into social places... like a watering hole of sorts.
Third... Tips. If you are a master dancer, you are looking for tips. If you are out in groups on elite planets - groups members will never tip you, just like I don't tip a group member healing me after fights. Elite cantinas might offer more lucrative cash... but i'm just saying groups certainly aren't going to tip their healers/dancers.

I don't expect tips when I'm hunting with people. I use the mission payouts as tips.
While I would not pull my weight as much as the Master Pistoleer/Bounty Hunter pistol specialist, I do contribute by keeping their minds fresh and buffed. He will do more damage than me, but that's where his skill points are.
A great tip for a group to give is to invite the Dancer for the mind buff. Then, the Dancer stays in the cantina (or travels and sees the sights) and reaps the mission payouts. Of course, that assumes a responsible group that won't take the buff and then boot the Dancer (how rude would that be!).
