Yeah I was going to suggest the same thing.

Sometimes you just need to do something to make the server "recompute" your character. Yes it is not supposed to happen, and usually re-logging will help. But not always so. Depending on how they have things scripted, it may be that re-learning a skill, even just the master box, will force a re-computation that will correct things.

Less extreme... have you tried dying again and respawning and see if that fixes stuff? Try it with and without being cloned and see if either of those makes things re-set.

Basically some sort of a variable or flag here seems not to have been re-set after your last re-spawn, and when that happens, you have to do something to get the server to recompute your character. One would hope the devs and CSRs have a way to do this manually, but if you don't want to wait for them to do it, these things might work.

Yeah it'd stink having to get more app points but better than having to re-learn the whole profession, no?

Have you tried surrendering your Master box and dancing? I would try to surrender that skill, dance, then relearn Master. I think 1 other profession had a problem with their master box. Might've been tailor. When they learned the master tailoring, they forgot all their skills.

Bless you Thunderheart waiting 2 weeks and then being told 3-4 weeks more to fix it is just rediculous!

that doesnt work i tried that and my problem was dieing and then not able to dance

Hey Kitira! I'm not a CSR so I can't fix this if it is something that would be fixed by a CSR but I'd like to help troubleshoot this with you (if you haven't already gotten in contact with a CSR) so we can figure out what would cause this.

Few questions I have, which dances were you trying? Were you trying to do flourishes? At any point did you have a macro running (trying to figure out if it was still trying to run it or something odd like that)? Did you have any clothes on that would effect your stats?

I've never had this problem happen to me, I'm a dancer, but I've had a few other strange bugs so I'd like to help you figure this one out.

Hmm. I've seen the message that I didn't have the proper skill come up a couple times since the last patch when I've tried to start a dance or do an effect, but for me it was (very thankfully!) only a momentary occurance. Kind of like getting the message after you stand up from resting and try to dance that you can't do that while running. I just tried again and it worked afterward. (I too am a Master Dancer, so if it's a Dance or Dancer Effect, I'd better have the skill!)

I had not seen that particular message come up until recently, so perhaps it is something (relatively) new. I'll try to pay attention for any occurances of it in the future to see if there seems to be any rhyme or reason to it. Right now, I can't remember any specific circumstances though.

I was in Dantooine at the Warren I had died. I went to the tavern to heal up and notice something was wrong..

with and with out flourish i was loseing between150-200 action points every 1-2 seconds..

I decide i would go home to espa and make a bug ticket..when a friend came in and i wanted to show him what the problem i was having .when i went to start to dance i recieved a msg several times it said

You do not have the skill to perform this action

i then proceded to try every dance that is to offer for dancers even the basic newbie dance and i still recieved the msg You do not have the skill to perform this action..

i have spoken to many csr's in game and two times on the phone the first csr was rude told me i needed to have my parents call for me..when i asked him what he ment by that (i have a 8 yr olds voice) he told me he was not allowed to work with minors on the phone.. i proceded to tell him iam a 31 yr old woman and i was offended by his actions towards me .that i would fax a copy of my DL to him if needed.he then told me that i didnt need to be dishonest about my age..to have my parents contact soe to try to resolve this mater and hung up on me..(and noi was not rude to him at any time dureing the conversation not that i had wanted to be as he truley offended me)

every csr in game keeps telling me to wait and wait more..the last csr was last night and he told me ..that i had to email anotehr csr that i had first delt with.on this mater i told him i have emailed him at lest 10 times and have not recieved a email back on this matter..

i have went to alot of extremes to try and fix this myself as i feel like if i didnt i wouldnt have it fixed..and nothing has worked only time i log in now is to make a csr ticket to try to get help only to basiculy be told please wait ..please wait and please wait..it has been two weeks now..how much longer? im sorry if i sound like im venting on you but iam not ..im jsut very frusterated.. that i can not play a game that i had waited so long to play and that im paying for to play.

Jeassa please if there is anyway to help me get this matter resolved i would be most thankful you and thunderheart is my last hope now..
