The many active entertainer CU representatives are being actively ignored.

No one has "active CU alpha testers" as there is nothing to test.

we need a 20-50x increase in entertainer mission payouts in the CU to balance our loss of income, I don't think it unfair to make 160k an hour with my 106 SP investment in dancer doing missions, over the 8k I can make now

I agree with Panthu. She and Ihave had our battles, but ultimately it was very clearley indicated that the non-combat professions were going to get a revamp too. That should give everyone here some hope. We aren't done yet. Not by a long shot.
But what I feel is more important than anything else right now is to get these professions into a firm, solid position within the game system, even if its only a small one.
Thank the developers that they did not take out Battle Fatigue. They did not have to keep it in, and I'd imagine thereare many players that wish it had gone. Battle Fatigue was, for better or for worse, the one, single, undeniable unique and wholly entertainer type of interdependency that made sense, and that facilitated the things we do.
Argue all we want about buffs. Frankly, after seeing all the threads concerning taking our buffing abilities, or all the headaches around it, surrounding it, and adding to the buffbot problems, it simply wasn't working out for us. Buffing, despite what we all built around it, was nothing more than "selling algebra." And it started to look like we were the mathematics instructor that prohibited the rowdyjuveniles from using calculators. We were right in asking for the prohibition, but ultimately it was fighting against forces that, quite frankly, were insurmoutable for us in many ways.
And speaking of unattendance, the only real way they can do that is if they don't get a thousand threats of, "allow us to have it or we can't play." Which we all know is utter garbage, but at least they did not scrap the class and concept entirely, or made us fluff, or the worst option, tochange nothing(which is very well what they may have considered).
We still have a game. There was a time that I thought we wouldn't. And in fact it will be a game that will cater to our strengths as live performers. And if we do not feel it is important, check on the B&E forum where I have been spending a lot of time. We are actually making some headway there concerning the problems unattendence causes, what it is caused by, and how we can find a way out. But it will take effort. And the effort starts with doing the important functions we have with zest, zeal, and optimism.
No more mind buffs means no more buffbots. We will simply have the occasional LAMer. And while some love buffbots, trust me when I tell you nobody loves a LAMer. No more buffbot issue means no more cold war against our patrons. They have issues too. They are playing a much more simple game as well. And it has to be simple at this point to see where it will grow.
There are issues we must start working on now. And I hope I won't be the only one working on them.Statistics are THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE . With the prospect of having dedicated combat professionals in PvP or PvE with health a factor of 2 or 3 times that of some of us, plus the fact that our weapons and armour choices may be limited are things that I think we can and must work to rectify. We can win on this issue because for the first time in our history we are not alone. We have the crafting community, the wilderness community (Creature Handlers, Bio Engineers, Scouts, and Rangers), and the medical community all with us for the first time in a long, long time. We can win on getting something for us, but only if we try, reach out, and push like I know we all can.
Because after all. We are dancers. We play the toughest, most challenging class in the game. We know how to work hard, fight for what we believe, and use our passion and committment for a place of our own. We can do it.
And why?
Because despite it all, Noolos still is going to need to go to the cantina. And when he gets there, I want to give him and his friends one hell of a show. And after I am done with that, I want to be with Noolos, fighting his fight alongside of him, and then do it all again in a new town, with good pay, and loads of admiration.
And I want all of you there with me.

That's why I don't grind. Six months in I may still not be a master, but I've enjoyed every moment I've played.
