I just wanted to let the dancers on Flurry know you have a formal wear tailor 1-4 at your service! I achieved tier 4 yesterday, and I am flooded with orders from all my wonderful girls at the Theed Cantina. I am cranking them out fast, and have samples of all the new incredible dresses in my shop for you to see! I expect to have the leku' wraps from the casual line within 7 days or so, and cant wait to show them off! Thank you for all the support of the fine dancers and musicians in Theed!
Also a special congrats to Lu' & Amoura on achieving Master Dancer!
Hello,
I am new to the dancer boards, i took up dancing for recreation to break up my time in the field.
Really from what i have seen of dancer fashion its not that its rare its that most dancers i see don't know how to put together a nice wardrobe with things that are available to them.
Even the some of the field wear can be used as dance wear.
One of the outfits i use is a Black Spec Ops Duster, no shirt, Black Hot pants and a pair of black dress slippers. Trust me it looks good, and some black leather gloves and a nice necklace to finish it off it looks great!
Also, you can change your look just by changing one or two things. For instance, sometimes i will wear a white dress blouse with pink hotpants and black dress slippers, its so simple but looks good. And not trashy.
When i change this outfit what i do is leave the White dress blouse, add a neck jewelry, change the hotpants to a pair of emerald green pantaloons and white casual shoes and black fingerless gloves. A completely different look for very little effort.
I also have several nice gowns that i had tailor made. Also mix and match boots for shoes, or a jacket for a shirt, you can do so much with fashion in this game its a shame that not more dancers are making ensembles for themselves with things available already.
Also, don't wear the same thing for too long, i find that my clients like the changes, and when your the same all the time then your just plain boring. I kid you not i change my clothes Every time i need to rest my action pool. I don't do it out in the open either, i tell the patrons i need to change for my next set and take a breather and head to the Room in the back of the Cantina, sometimes i know what i am going to put on sometimes i don't, i use this time to refill my action, but i also use it to look through the clothes i have and make up a new look with all the stuff i have.
Above all don't give up on trying new looks, trust me your patrons enjoy it, and if you look good, and different your gonna get more attention then the hacks that drop to their bra and wiggle around. I know i prefer exotic to trashy.
I hear alot of dancers complain that they don't get tips, well maybe its because most of them are hacks. I personally take in about 3 to 5k credits a night on the weekends. around 1500 to 2000 creds on a week day night. I have people that go out of their way to come see me, and i am not even the "best" dancer there is around. Style can say alot more then "new dance moves" any day imo.
Its attitude, look and creativity all rolled into one, i read Flawed Diamonds posts and i agree with her 100% . Creating something takes more then just mashing a macro, it takes thinking about what your customers want, and maybe stuff they don't know they want. If you put in the effort you will reap the rewards.
I hope this post is not too willy nilly i am really tired and formulating intelligient thought that is cohesive is a bit beyond me at this point lol

One design that has gotten popular response on test is sort of the 'sexy leia' dance outfit.
Consists of:
Pullover (casual 3) White
Shortsleeve Shirt (Artisain) White
White or pastel colored hotpants
White boots
Itlooks very nice, notvery revealing up top but it gives the illusion of underwear as well as a decent ammount of leg.
I get more positive reaction from that often times than I do of my more obviously revealing clothing.

Another great look if you want more of a elegant yet sexy outfit is:
Light Bustier, fashionably pleated skirt, long uniform gloves, with braclet/necklace to match.
Its sorta gothic looking, sexy and classy. Nice change from the go-go uniform of shorts/boots hehe.
