As for the frumpy looking robes/dresses on Twi'lek I have to agree so that is why I am still wearing my wrinkled pants and my short sleeved shirt. It looks good on me, I'm not naked in any sense, and I am waiting to find a tailor that can make me what I want. I have lots of peple looking for me to but no one is working the causal branch of tailor as far as I can tell.

you know, there are tailors around....we tend to hide under our apprentice performer titles because the armoursmiths tend to tell spam with "you have field wear (insert number here) yet"? if we leave the tag up.

I have a cantina of my own on naboo, just outside kaadara with my wares for viewing. drop on by, send me an email and I'll give you the waypoint. if you need something custom, let me know. it's not that I want to work for armoursmiths first, it's that they pay the bills on the medium house and factory and harvesters =(

having finally figured out what the bazaars were and what they looked like i was very excited about spending my tips on clothing for my dancer.

i guess there must be a lack of tailors on tatooine, flurry. i was able to buy a wrap around skirt that looked like a dusty pink rose color, a head dress that was about the same color with red jewels, pink bracelets, and a strip necklace, and new dance slippers that were faint yellow greenish color(sounds ugly but it looks nice with my li'l ensemble they are shiney so thats a plus too)

i'll begoing shirtlessso i wear the sports bra until i find a shirt/blouse that compliments my ensemble.

even with out the shirt i think i look pretty cute. anyways that said... i'd like to see more tailors on the flurryserver.

Just to clarify, the character I was referring to is on Radiant, and I have never seriously enganged in an undie dance. It was fun to joke around for the first night I was playing ("HOOCHIE DANCE!"), but those are some pretty ugly underwear to begin with, and running around in your skivvies isn't all that glamorous or heroic. And if you can't be glamorous or heroic in the game, what's the point? :-D

Also, I should mention that:

1. I am a guy.
2. I have made fun of silly outfits (undie dances, for example) on other dancers
3. I'm straight and single. Call me**. :'(

I also think that most of the problems people have been experiencing in the entertainment field (lack of tips, rude customers, etc. etc.) will eventually be self-corrected once the game's economy and society stabilizes. The problem right now is that you've basically got a world with a huge flood of new arrivals who are causing social chaos and screwing up the economy. It's not their fault; they have no money or marketable skills. Yet. Eventually they will become productive members of society. Perhaps some of them will notice the lack of a given service (such as a tailor) and will fill in that gap because they realize there is money to be made. One can only hope.

My tailor (on bloodfin) just made formalwear 2 and the intricate gown looks great!

Sadly most tailors are going for the fieldwear first since they are just making armor components...

so if you're not lucky enough to have a tailor crazy enough to not do fieldwear first you may have to settle for fashionable military fatigues for a while

I dance, but I'm also a tailor. Currently have formal wear1 and working on experimentation 1. I was planning on going up the formal branch first, alternating each level with experimentation for more colors. Since my intent was to make my own outfits, should I be doing the casual wear branch as priority instead? (I would love lekku wraps, but I adore fancy gowns too).

In any case, I'm on Corbantis server, usually on Talus but I commute to Naboo to do the good delivery missions. Formal 1 has some tasteful long skirts, and a decent dress blouse that shows a bit of cleavage and allows necklaces to be equipped and still look good.

I am proud to say I wear a bustier and hot pants as well as boots. I wear the boots because dress slippers just look bad with the outfit. Now, some may say, wear something more dressy, I say, I am stuck doing the popular style then will have to slog for over a 100k to get through poplock 2, which neither style looks good in a fancy dress.

I could wear pants and a jacket like some do, but I don't want to look like I am a customer, I am a dancer and entertainer, we are supposed to be dressed differently.

At least I am not hopping about in my underwear as some do.

And if you really want to get into the fashion thing, all I can say is, if there were fashion police, then the first thing that needs to go is the bone armor that so many seem to be fond of, what are those helmets all about, they look like football players.

Windeline,

Take a trip to Theed, Naboo, and stop by the cantina.

Ask just about any of the dancers and musicians where Jessaria's store is located and we will happily email you a helpful waypoint, and probably some will tag along just to see what she has new for sale...

There are several up and coming tailors on Naboo in the Theed area, Jess just happens to be one of the Tailors that has noticed a Cantina full of dancers starved for fashion, and has taken advantage of it by at first stopping in the Cantina with armloads of dresses, and now setting up shop just outside the city. Last I checked she was up at Formal II, and I am wearing a navy blue version of the intricate dress that looks great on me and goes quite well with the dances I am into right now (Exotic and Lyrical when i have the space)

Her shop is very nice, 2 room house with wares artfully displayed

While you are in Theed, why not stay an evening and dance in the Cantina for a break? It's really fun to meet new dancers from all over.....

Anyone on Eclipse could try Ilureah a novice tailor for clothes, she is going up the formal line I believe. Ockawe is also a novice tailor. Both of them are based in Dearic on Talus. If you mention I referred you it may help

Thanks for the plug Ico'uf!

The reason the horrible 80's styles are all you see is because the truly great stuff doesnt start till tier 2+ in the tailoring professon. Just be patient, things will get better. Once you are able to find a tailor in your area, just keep checking with them as they grow in skill. Any good tailor can fix you up in a clothing combination that is different and refreshing. I have formal wear 1 &2, and field wear 1&2, and will soon have formal 3, for suits and even more dresses. If you are near Theed, Naboo on the Flurry server, stop by the shop. I let you try on outfits, and will custom color them to meet your tastes. I offer great discounts to dancers, since they are my primary customers and work on tips!

Well if anybody on Tarquinas (sp) is intrested im heading up the Formal Line first then ill probably go up casual to at least 3 before I start getting colors.
Field Wear is actually the last line I plan on starting.

Im up to Formal Wear I currently, having a resource shortage otherwise id be farther up the line. Just planted my 5th harvester though so that should be taken care of until the next resource shift.

I typically am found on Tattoine, around Bestine but sometimes around Mos Eisly.
Just send me an E-Mail with requrests and Ill supply whatever you like.
