I have yet to notice a fall while wielding a weapon.

In the moment I use a Spraystick ... looks a bit like a microphone
and not so much like a weapon.
Its quite small and will not disturb most dances. (okey, I have not
reached the exotic dances yet

)

I'm pretty sure that I have never seen a fall whilst wielding my scout blaster.

I am also pretty sure that I have never seen a fall whilst wielding a musical instrument too. Makes more sense to dance with a flute in your hand than a knife or gun!

But then if someone does /changeband you'll end up bugged if you're holding an instrument, and you'll have to change dance or stop and start again.
