Again, the whole nerf/fix relationship is mixed up. Instead of nerfing a perfectly good and very convenient buff for doctors, complain about fixing the availability of materials and the lack of tipping for doctor's buffs. Let's not bring the dancers down to our level, let's go up to their's.

Seems like a wonderful thing to me. Entertainers really need a new edge. Even if its free, their mind buffing is not as convient. To get that buff one has to sit and watch in a proper location for 10 minutes or so. We doctors can apply buffs instantly, and anywhere there's a camp, center, or droid.

Who are we to complain? Dancers aren't cutting into our turf or anything. Heck, it makes our turf better. *runs to nearby cantina*

I think it's great that the entertainer buffs cost nothing other than time and action (which is easily healable). Since their marginal cost is 0, you will soon see the charges for these buffs approaching 0. Sure, there will be some that try to charge 2K or so, but it won't hold up. Everyone will undercut.

And as doctors, we have a trump card anyway. You buff my mind, I'll buff you secondary action stats (actually only really need to buff the regen stat probably). What's the true cost to us of a single charge of an enhance D? Less than50 credits for most of us I suspect, but most entertainers will go forthis.

I don't charge but I usually get about 5k for a mind buff.

Hi,

I tell them 1k because full doctor buff (6 stat buff) cost 6k. However, my clients tend to tip me whole lot more. Sometimes, it's so much I have to return some.

Entertainers go free of charge if I recognize them or see they are masters ( i.e. no hologrinders ). On some days, when I feel imperial, Imperials go free of charge, too. Normal price is 3K and I am reluctant to buff for that price because although it doesn't cost anything in terms of in game money, it costs time I could spend on something better and real life time is hardly worth a measly 3K credits. Just imagine I had a perfect supply of one customer every 10 minutes, that would make 18K an hour. Not exactly breathtaking and it simply won't happen this way anyway. If someone asks for a buff, I will give it, but I'm not advertising it.

So it boils down to a simple fact: I only buff friends who ask. I don't buff for money. If someone asks me because he checked my badges, I will take 3K.

I don't have a set price. I usually say "whatever it is worth to you" when they ask.

I find that most are pretty generous when given the freedom to determine what it is worth to them.

It took a long time to get to Master level, but after that for eight minutes of work, I think the tips have been pretty nice.

Oh, and I tend to buff Medical people for free or very little - it's nice to get a free one in return.

what exactly needs to be done to give someone buffs. Is there a certain amount of flourished you need to perform in a certain time? or do you not need to flourish. All i know so far is that you need to be grouped and they need to watch you for like 4 mins
