Dancing since day 1 and no plans to leave any time soon. If I did, it would be leaving the game, not the profession

I've been dancin' since Valcyn came up and I'm still not Master... close, now, though...

I'll drop any combat-related skills I have LONG before I drop Dancer.

Been a dancer since day 2 (couldn't log in day 1) and I mastered I think 2 months in. I won't give it up for anything. It's who I am. I'm here for the long haul.

I played a Twi'lek dancer in beta. When the game opened I played a wookie scout ... that scout became a ranger and a pikeman... but it wasn't FUN. So I switched server (and make a crew of folks follow me) and brought my dancer back to life.

A'Ri is fun to play. Now that she's a master dancer I plan to take her to master tailor, master doc, master rifle, maybe play with a sword... I've been tempted to drop the dancing profession... but then she wouldn't be A'Ri.

Master Dancer is her life. The others are just hobbies.

Btw, she's now at 2/2/2/1 in tailoring so if any of you entertainers want some Bio-E clothes for dancing/musicing let me know!

I used to be like this. But I dropped Master Dancer about a month and a half ago. The first week I was completely devastated and didn't really know what to do with myself. But after that week, I began to realize that there was so much more to the game; I found my "niche" in fencing and exploringand have been doing that ever since. I've tried pistols, rifles, carbines and heavy swords but fencing fits for me. Dancer did too for a long time but I guess getting over dropping it really opened up the game to me. I used to say I'd never dropdancer but after I finally did, I realized all the other things the game had to offer.

I'm by all means telling you to drop dancer, just giving you an opinion from an old veteran You'd be surprised how little you actually miss it. Right now I'm working for Master Entertainer for my first holocron and actually hate it. Maybe because all those memories of early cantina days back in June and July have scarred me for life lol. Who knows.

I started off as a musician, but after I hit Master Entertainer I switched my focus to dancing because it was more fun and a lot easier for me to make progress in. Plus I like how dancer and fencer play together........so I don't *plan* to drop dancer anytime!

I'm three boxes of heaing short of gettingmaster. :-)

Conceived of the character as a dancer a year ago, 6 months before release, started as an entertainer been dancing ever since.

However I do not grind, at least not since the first full month of release and I have yet to reach Master Dancer. 5 boxes away.

Yes I want it badly, yes I work at it to figure out as much about dance as I can. But I have to roleplay it. And roleplay for me is more than sitting in a cantina and talking to chums. If that means 2 hours of training with little xp gain then that is what I do.

I shall always be a dancer with Tandaava but also, I hope, more than that, a supporter and proponent of all good entertainment.

I started as a scout but when my friend took me to a cantina the first time I stayed there and danced. Best thing about that was that I didn't have to wear the awful Newbie entertainer clothes.. Those red shoes make me break out in rashes..

And I will keep being a Master dancer until I quit the game, I might give up Master ID, Master Ent and all the music skills I have, but never master dancer.

I started as a marksman on Lowca, but visiting the cantina changed my profession and barely left the place. I made Master relatively quick because I have the luxury of putting in many hours a day. Then changed accounts, started as an entertainer (what an embarrassment, these clothes are horrid!), worked my way up to Master Dancer again. I ended up liking a passive/active combo and picked up some combat skills, suddenly I turned commando. So I became the infamous dancing commando, often found buffed and dancing in ST armor in Coronet - just for laughs. Not everyone appreciated it, but for me it was innocent entertainment. After a while I wanted to try and get Master Commando so reluctantly I dropped a few of my dancing skills. Eventually I dropped it all. Then I missed it again, and tried to pick up the pace but I had it done recently twice already and really could not stomach doing all these icky dances again (so far I only seemed to like popular/exotics, and formal/lyrical if it didn't make me feel so stupid every time I did those basic steps turning around as if i forgot how to dance, or maybe lost something and was scouting the floor).

A few weeks after I dropped it I couldn't take it anymore. I had to have an entertainer. So I made an alternate character on Ahazi, which I have been busy playing more after some holotrades on that server, and promised myself that she will never ever drop dancing. It helps of course not wanting to be a jedi on two servers, so i can let the holochaos pass me while I entertain among the zombies. Luckily, they know I am there, so far cannot complain about attention nor about tips. All is well in the Anchorhead cantina Though once I am done training, I will spend more time with my fellow Space Pirates on Lok, and dance in the cantina there

So yes, I have given up dancing, and no I didn't like it. Its just at times so frustrating that I ask myself if it still is worth it, sometimes it is but sometimes it most definately isn't. I've played a little longer now, I have grown some skin and know how to deal wit ircky situations a lot better. Tho, I am still often puzzled how changing professions affects me personaly, and wonder if others have something like that too. If i am out as a commando blowing up things and ppl call me names or do idiotic emotes I can shrug it off, because I more or less expect it to happen.I don't like it, but I am not crying over it behind my screen. When I am entertaining however, these things bother me a far greater deal. Its almost a mystery as wearing a suit or a dress. Funny how that works at times.

I loved being a Master Dancer. It was the first profession I Mastered in the game. I joined about a month after the live release, took me about another month to reach Master. I stayed with it for a while, and made a ton of friends on Starstrider, but gave up my title. God, big mistake. I never realized how much I depended on that title. People asking me to dance for them and telling them I couldn't. Sad.

Well, anyhoo, Im going for Master Marksman and Master Scout right now, to pick up Novice BH, just to be able to go to the higher level planets and crank out some destroy missions. However, I went back and am now slowly working back up the Dancer trees. Im a glutton for punishment. Im not sure where this character of mine is going...a little cube told me to Master Droid Engineer, but hey...NO WAY! Im just not the Artisan type and I dont want to run a business, unless its a Cantina.

So after I find a few Holos and sell 'em, its back to the Dancer trees, and I hope to own a Cantina when I retire for good.

See you on Starstrider!

I've been a dancer since day one that Ptet was hatched, and will stay Master Dancer as well.

I can probably also speak for Ekana that she will continue as a Master Dancer as well.

No way, no how will I give it up...not even for a FS.
