I've been a Dancer since the first day of release, or i should say the second ( Seeing as we could not actually play on the first day ) and i love it. To this day i still have not Mastered Dancer, and yes, it is my primary profession. I have never AFK'd a single XP in the Game to get there. I'm not preaching about the Pro AFK or anti AFK people, I just have fun being social in the Cantinas doing my thing.

I'm a long time Role Player, so i think that goes along way in enjoying Social professions like Entertainers, and I will always be a Dancer, i love it, always have, always will, it will always be who my cherecter is, a Dancer.

P.S.

I'm one skill away from Master now, only took me six Monthes to get there!

I retired from the server where I am a master dancer, master imager and wont likely come out of retirement until they ban afk healing and skill gain in the game.

Afk anything has got to be stopped ,,its destroying more than just the entertainer profession,,

I'm not a master dancer yet but close. I am having connection problems on my laptop (sigh) or I would've probably gotten master over the upcoming holidays. /double-sigh.

At any rate, been dancing since I started playing the game in late July. Won't quit. Ever.

My character's also a master Ent though so she plays music sometimes, especially if she is the only one who can play Ceremonial and the other dancers want to dance to it.

As long as dancing remains dancing I'm in it forever.

I was a dancer in Beta .

I started the game day 1 as dancer and am Master now. Nothing could induce me to change.

My dream was to be a Twilek Dancer. I am a Twilek Dancer.

I was a bit saddened at getting Master, because I was faced with what to do next. I thought that the road had ended. Instead, it had only just begun. Sure, I've worked a few odd-jobs. Made money selling ore to architects in massive quantities. Was the CEO of my own company: GebbCo. Booooring. Made lots of cash and ran my little legs off and never had an ounce of fun. No time to go shopping. work work work. So, I closed my business. All the while, though, I was dancing at the Crimson Moon Inn, a small house turned into a cantina. Pulling down 60k per day in ore, and I'm still dancing at the cantina for a few hours, for the paultry sum of 1k credits + tips.

Finally, after many an interesting adventure, I managed to get my own Cantina. Again, a goal of mine had been reached. I've mastered bikes, dabbled in droids, and know where the 'sharp end' of a pistol is.

Never has it occured to me to give up dancing. Its who I am. All the other professions I've dabbled in have only been hobbies. No rush, no quick grind and strain to master your skills. Nope. just hobbies. I'm a dancer. I display my title proudly, no matter what other hobbies I've got going on in my workroom.

Currently, I'm sporting the "Exotic Dancer" by night, Pistol-packin' biker-chick by day. Its fun. I'll do something else soon enough, but Dancer is who I am.

I've seen dancers come and go. My idol, the one who I first gazed upon and said "..i wish to be a master".. the one that sparked that inspiration... She hung up her fleshwrap, grabbed her rifle, and suddenly became a tipping customer.

A dancer isn't a job. The tips aren't good unless you're lucky. Those 'special dances' (mind buffs) can pay the rent, but thats not why you do it. You become a Dancer because you want to be the center of attention. YOu want to be up on the stage, performing for others.. Helping those beat-up folks think of something else for a while, and maybe, give them a happy memory to take off with them..

Dancer is just something you give a chunk of yourtimeand experienceto. You keep dancing. You stay good at it. Why? I dunno. I never asked myself why I wanted to be a dancer. Just did.

Besides.. you get to hear all the lovely tales the folks bring back from the dusty trails.. and never have to leave the stage. And, no one appreciates a dancer more than one faction or another, out on a raid, and badly needing a little cheering up. ^_^

I have been dancing since I created my character. I went from a sweet, bubbly noncombat, nonaligned chica to a pistol-packing PvP rebel grrl in the intervening months, but I'll always keep my Master Dancer tag on. Now I have my own cantina & international man of mystery...what more could a Zabrak ask for?

I dont know if i will ever give up dancer, seeing it was the first thing I chose when I started. I've thought about many other things, but I have yet to master it. I'll definately keep it though when I do. Give up all that hard work? HAH!

My concept of the character was dancer from the beginning, but I popped into the world a Scout. I liked the balanced HAM bars, made more sense.

From the name {Siren} I guess I =should= be a singer... and you can't believe how thrilled I was the day I earned Enthraller {Thank you, darla!}.

Master Dancer is central to this character. Master Scout, the carbine skills and survey... they're just flourishes.

I've been dancing since June 26/27, which was the first day of live release, I believe. Like others here, I knew I wanted to be a dancer. The concept was like nothing I had ever seen before and had the potential to be something great. Now, here it is, almost six months later, and although dancing is my first love and main passion, I am still at 0-1-0-2 in the Dancer tree. I don't plan on quitting and I won't surrender my dancing skills, even for a holocron. I have other skills in Tailor, Pistoleer, Medic, and Scout, and I'll let those go over the Dancer ones in a heartbeat.

So what's holding me up, you might say? Why, if I love dancing so much, am I not a Master Dancer yet, first and foremost? Well, to start out with, my play time is sporadic due to caring for my 10 month old daughter, who loves to press those flourish buttons as much as I do. Second, I am a curious person who likes to explore, and so I find myself out dancing in camps more than in the Cantina. Right now I am letting my dance experience build up while I master Entertainer.

No matter how the profession may evolve, I plan to stay with it. The only thing that would make me stop would be the entire removal of Dancer from the game entirely, which I don't see as a possibility. There are too many of us who love it too much!
