Thread: Add Fame for Entertainers
Nope, I've never heard of UXP, something that was in the beta version?
Lovely ideas though, would be fun to have my name lights, better still that you would show up on the crtl+v map with your name, not just the /register symbol.
Usage XP is still in the game as far as I know - last time I ever tried to gain from it was with med crafting pre-CU and even back then, it wasn't enough of a benefit for most to bother with it.
I think the crafted item has to be used while you are in range, but like I said, I've never seen that much attention paid to it. Early on, people leveled slower and smaller benefits seemed more significant than they did once the players really got the hang of what worked best. Which for crafting turned out to be get a ton of resources and grind it out to Master asap.
Usage XP only makes sense if people are playing through crafting levels like a real casual player would - since there is no clear benefit to that though and those items are so much harder to sell, hardly anyone ends up doing that unless they are like a hardcore RPer.
I've tried to play through crafter leveling, usually people feel sorry for me and try to straighten me out then give me tons of grinding resources. *shrug* Sort of like how most people think AFK leveling is the only way that makes sense to level Ent, but even more widely practiced I think. I still think Fame is a good idea, I think it needs to be something that is just as useful and fun at Master as it is at the early leveling stages. Speeding up leveling isn't a bad idea still though - it would have to be more beneficial than usage xp is for crafters though or no one would bother with it.

I recently saw something in a patch note that players should no longer be receiving usage XP, or maybe it was just for Tailors.

It's not any longer. I noticed this in one of the patch notes recently, where they said they had removed cases where players were "still erroneously receiving" XP based on usage.

*giggles* Got asked for my autograph the other day and if this had been AC1 I could have done so on a piece of parchment... has anyone figured out how to do this here? Other than creating a signed slitherhorn?
Eloenne used to present (trade) autograph tablets which were actuallybounty hunter packs. You could fill in the title with your autograph and she would hang them on her wall
