I heard one of the other ents say "I'll finally get onto Person's tip list when she gets back at the keyboard" the other day and I almost died.

Few people knew or saw my first IG hubby, he worked 3rd shift and I worked first. My second IG hubby was known on the server (no comments from the peanut gallery Z). My third IG hubby is less well known and about as invisible as my first.

My marital status hasn't effected my tips but it does stop some of the more objectionable tells. It also seems to elicit some anger from players, which I am at a loss to understand.

LOL, being married to me ingame is like a death sentence.I feellike I'm a black widow as my IG hubbies all seem to quit the game.

The three times I've been married (the first two times were to people who were "under the radar," this last time was to somebody who's a big PVP goober ), I've noticed no change in the amount or frequency of my tips, nor does anybody treat me anydifferently (sans the one time somebody commented that I was "stupid enough" to marry my latest IG husband, but that was on the Sunrunner boards and I just ignored it because I don't really give asmurf what people think about me, IG or out ). I've continued to just dance and goof around and flirt, the same way I always have, same way I always will. No man will ever tame me!

I love my RL husband with all my heart, andNyrehtak loves Vampa with all her heart. Don't ask me how I can possibly separate the feelings, but I do.

As for tips, I get tipped by Vampa's friends...does that count? No really, I rarely dance in public cantinas anymore, mostly in my cities cantina. So I rarely get tipped anymore. That is not how I make my living, and I don't dance for tips, I dance for fun.

I know exactly what you mean. It's the same for Caerwynn and Safim, it's kind of like writing a novel or play.

Tip lists are appalling and look like begging to me. I have never had one and turned down an enooooormoous tip just because he said he wanted to see his name in my bio at the top of the list. Told him to read my bio and see that I didn't have a tip list. He then offered to double it if I did, still told him no.

I've never gotten many tips, anyway, but I have noticed this... Whenever I'm getting cozy with someone in an RP sense, all of a sudden EVERYONE wants to get cozy with me. It starts out, "Happily married to blah blah, the love of my life" in all the bios. Then, all of a sudden, it's like all the single women come in a wave... Good match, good fun, she isn't too put off that I can be a PVP-happy powergaming super-Acheiver type, and things are good. Then, of course, things quiet down eventually, and I'm one of the ones with the "Happily married to..." in the bio, but then the in-game sig-other quits or somesuch... I've had two leave the game on me, and the third... well, the third was the alt of one of the ones who had the "Happily married to..." in the bio, and that got wierd fast.

So while there are definitely patterns to in-game marriage, I can't say they've affected my tips any

Esharra is on her second marriage and I've noticed no change at all. However this is a rp'd marriage and neither of us are demonstratively huggy/kissy people anyway..although I think the affection is evident.Players who reside within the realm of our rp are aware ofthe marriage(& mostbelieve a broken home is in the making). Those on our server whogenerally don't rp are probably completely unaware of it.It may be that she doesn't seem "taken", although I've never made her seem "available" either.

For those of you on Chilastra, we'll (hopefully) soon have an explaination coming of why Mell is suddenly back in the Emporer's good graces and Eshis no longer Rebel. And keep an eye out for annoucements for the opening of"Esh and Mell's Grand Adventure", it's a place made especially for parties (with a few clothing vendors to help perpetuate the myth that we really must keep those beloved alt accounts open).
