Never.

Clever.

You don't need a creature to do this. Just get an entertainment droid and group with it. Now you are pre-grouped and anyone attempting to invite you will get an error message.

Anyone want pets on bria I'll gladly go hunt them down.

I've caught Rasps (Talus and Corellia), Spats, Squill, Durni, Nuna, Dewbacks, Bols, Gnorts, Butterflies, Brackasets, Chubas, and maybe a few others I can't think of that all have a version that nonCH entertainers can use. I will gladly spend 1-3 hours looking for a pet that is just right for you. Seriously. I know I'm crazy, but it is fun.

Well, the way I see it, the need to re-educate them may not come up that often cause it won't be often that the buff-bots are not available. You would think the devs learned their lesson when they made "hologrinding for Jedi" and really traumatized the game. They're now traumatizing the entertainment industry and protecting the un-manned players that are breaking their EULA.

There may even be a reason for them to punish us entertainers. Perhaps they want to discourage all those "fair-weather" entertainers that bloomed from the hologrind and make them quit. In the process though, we're losing the good ones too, but I bet thats just collateral damage. I've already got friends who are leaving due to the entertainment problems and its sad that they made up their minds before I could talk them out of it.

But, in my own defense, I automatically /addignore anyone who uses the services of a buff-bot as well as the bot itself. It seems harsh but only to myself right?

Yeah it is, hi PoetD.

I've been playing SWG all along (though I am sure my lack of presence on the boards implied otherwise). I just got sick and tired of the same old AFK/anti-AFK, tip/anti-tip, etc, arguments and started reading other forums. I get most of my info. from my guild mates now, and it's a lot more peaceful.

I may be around a bit more than the last few months but I hopefully won't be dragged into the same old arguments anymore.

wouldn't /deny work better for all the harassing players rather than /addignore? Because at least then they can't even use you to heal bf or mind wounds. Though, mind you the one time I did have to /deny someone he got a system message saying he had been denied from me (!!!) and proceeded to verbally abuse me until I was forced to /addignore as well. What's the point of sending them a message?

/Deny only lasts until you exit the game. /addignore is forever... well until you remove them from your addignore list. and /deny doesn't even have an effect at times.

Yeah, /deny doesn't actually do much of anything because what are they denied? Being healed by you? Woowoo, when there's 45789032432 AFKers in the same room.
