Yes, yes, we know that we can avoid falling by not doing Exotic 2, 3, or 4. Unfortunately for many of us, those are our favorite dances. And why shouldn't they be? Exotic 3 and 4 are two of my master level dances, I want to be able to do them without falling all over myself! Furthermore, when buffing, I find the three exotic dances listed very useful because they don't drift around nearly as much as any of the other dances. When you're in a crowded cantina, it's a real hassle to travel all over the floor when you're trying to buff someone. Sometimes I try to use Popular2 but even that drifts a lot. Try it...if you do Popular2 in one spot, even just the base dance, eventually you'll drift backwards, further and further.
Bottom line, I'm sick of falling. And no offense Tiaga, but I'm sick of being told "don't do your highest dance if you don't want to fall."

I think his advice was probably for people like me and the original poster. I had no ideea there was a difference - I thought you fell an equal amount of time on any dance you do.
It's good to know that as a Master I will have at least truly mastered the lower dances - I spend enough time practicing them!
This is good buff advice, I'm bookmarking this thread for when I need it later. At my rate of advance - much later! Thanks guys.

I don't believe Tiaga is* condoning the fall, he's simply stating how to deal with it in the confines of the game mechanics. I almost always buff using exotic 3 or 4. My buff macro is very basic, just floing 1 and 2 and I've polled enough patrons to know that it looks seamless on their end. If I use Popular2 for buffing, I change the flos so I'm not just kicking the patron in the chin the entire time
. The problem (and one I come up against regardless of the the dance I use to buff) is thatif I fall during the buff, I seem tocontinue to produce a fall for that particular flo. In that instance, I usually return to hand floing so that I can "bump" myself out of the fall cycle.
*Edited because I shouldn't try to make sense when I'm down with the flu . . . .

Just a bit more about the stats: 1500 Quickness effectively reduces flo costs to zero. If you can get Quickness to 1500, the Action pool becomes irrelevant.
Because of that, I used to know a lot of docs that would keep 'junky' (800-1200 or so)Quickness buffs on hand just for buffing entertainers. Since you're also a doc, you might consider making up some lower-end Quickness buffs to do the trick. No high-end resources required... makes it quitea bit easier to put together.
That'll also become your guide for whether to drink two Accarragm shots or just one, if using drink buffs. I personally drink one shot of good BE Accarragm- at max Twi'lek secondaries (750 Q, 400 S)it drops Action costs low enough that the drink-buffed Stamina has no trouble keeping up with regen.
