That is to say, you can get the UI to accept the "default."
I can't check in game right now but I was under the impression that the "default" buff is the passive one for this reason.
That's why whenever I post about making the passive buff require activation, I always make a point of also adding "...and the default on the popup to be "no buff.""
Testing is never bad, IMO, but referring to this subject, Esh posted in the "Community Help?" thread...

btw../insp chef will bring up the selection box. It will not select anything from it. Now that would be pretty dumb to add a line command in a system where you're trying to prevent using a line command for automation, wouldn't it be? /smirk
Going back to bed..
Sorry I was reading the other thread and went into a panic so I didn't see this.

Yup, Red rocks.
The technique I was told apparently doesn't work. Which of course means someone was using an illegal 3rd party macroing tool but claiming the in-game macros would allow it. And of course, the posts making the claims have been heavily edited (or their contents entirely deleted) by the authors, so clearly they realized the jig was up.

Well the sneaky and easy way to find out info on this is to find a bot who you think is buffing afk with the active buffs, and then e-mail that person (maybe with an alt) saying that you're a guild bot and you're trying to figure out how you can afk buff your guild's crafters. Maybe he or she will tell you exactly how to do it, and then we'll know if it is possible at all, and whether it can be legally done if possible.
