Huh? Who else did? Hmm, I have to admit... I've been watching this thread from the first post. 
I didn't mean any one side... I just meant, we should all be careful of our wording when we rule something out so as not to rule out other things we would like.
The 30 sec buff has no chance of coming back in it's old exploit form ever, petition or not. Speed buff option? Eh, maybe. I liked Niza's idea because it was targeted and had a limit. It might be a nice option for extreme cases. *shrug*
Of course you have a right to say anything... here's an example:
I'm not nuts about public buff bots... I say something abouttaking awayall of their tools... someone reads it and thinks we don't want macros at all... someone else comments on that and it's taken as we don't want tools like /groupchangedance... then that gets read as we don't want anything other than how we are right now.
If you truly think the profession is 100% perfect, I think that's fine to say. I just wanted a little caution reminder that sometimes people don't read everything we are really saying.
Warning: I am way too distracted with ID new colors to be saying anything very serious... no offense was intended, promise! 
Oh, I don't know. I can buff 20 people a lot faster than a doc can, even without a 30 second mind buff exploit. Yes, exploit, not feature.
3 minutes seems about right to me, but it's stillfar fromperfect in its current form.
Not knowing what server you are on, I can't comment about the lack of entertainers you mentioned. There hasn't been a reduction in the numbers on Bria as far as I can see - not in the group that I'm familiar with at any rate, and we all frequent the ENT chat channel every day so we are easy to find. I did notice, though, that many of the hologrindersrushed to get ID over with before the patch, so perhaps some switched their grind for a few days because of that.
While its true that we can now buff in under 4 minutes, there is a buff bug of some sort that has yet to be addressed by the devs . . . /sigh. It has mademost of us very discouraged about giving buffs since as many as half of them don't take on the first try (regardless of beinggrouped, ungrouped, solo- or duo-targeted [dancer/musician]).
I was actually still able to stick a stored buff a few days ago.
The only thing they changed is that you can't get music and dancer buff at the same time, which sucks. You can also not dance-buff a musician while receiving a musician buff from him.
but if anyone defines the Entertainer clases solely by their ability to buff and now leaves it because he/she can't do it in 30 secs anymore... well was nice with you, have fun with Commando or whatever you're grinding now, you've never been a real entertainer anyway...
