I read this and just lauch at it. theres so much spamming going on left and right that this statment is meaningless. i realy dought they punish every 1 that spams emotes left and right. and the 1s that spams there wears they are selling on there vendors. and on top of it the ad bots those are spamming machines.
the only resone a person would get baned or punished would be if they spam the same phrase 200 times in a 3 min. wich causes lag and disconection. and they have been doing this since the 1-2nd month of game launch.
and if u threatened about buff bots look what jtl did to us. yes we get more healing xp but im not buffing as many ppl as i use to and not makeing as nearly as much money as i use too

Saturday night on Farstar server...
Having been flying throughout the galaxy and getting my hands dirty setting up a vehicle shop, I decided that it was time to get back into the cantina, find my old crew and dance away the evening.
First thing I noticed was a distinct lack of spam from anyone. Not totally absent, but a hell of a lot less than there used to be. Especially in the cantina. No-one, and I mean absolutely no-one, was spamming spatial with requests for tips or heals. I've never seen it like that before.
After an hour or so a new player came in and started dancing. Within two minutes she had started spamming her tipping list. The response from the cantina?
Please stop that spamming now.
Not just one or two people but over half of the cantina asked her politely to stop. (She didn't at first and subsequently got kicked from the entertainers group and people advised to /addignore her.)
She stopped eventually after someone explained the whys and wherefores of what was going on. I'm sure she's destined to become a buffbot eventually which is a shame but it was refreshing to see that everyone felt the same about spamming and felt empowered enough to stand up to it.

Just another night of dancing....in the Twilight Zone.
Which cantina was it?
J.
Umiio "Umi" Panwanga • Rodian party girl • Bria
Iba'onchab • Gets boarded sometimes • Chimaera
This random sig quote is brought to you by the Star Wars Galaxies forums:
"I'm all for AFK spammers getting slapped with a TEF so that everyone in the area can gun them down. Coronet would be a hell of a lot more fun that way."
