Thanks! I still like the dancing. The best part is that it doesnt require resources ( some nice clothes with enhancements eventually would be nice). So I can log on, dance play music etc and i dont ned to go find a ton of resources to play.
Its more relaxing for me and I get to talk to some very nice people! Incidentally the toon is on sunrunner. So if anyone is there id be glad to say hi. : )

My mom started playing with me (dancer of course) and last night was second time in the cantina and as I'm walking up to the cantina to join her I hear "OMG STARZ MARRY ME!" (we named her Starz Sapphire - thought it was a good stage name).
Well my mom is kinda confused because 1) she doesn't see it just hears her name 2) didn't know you can marry 3) wondering why this stranger is proposing to her.
Well to save her I send the guy a tell saying "leave my mom alone she's still new to the game!"
Mr. intellegent says "I wasn't talking about your mom, I was talking to Starz"
..... /sigh
BUT I can tell you its not a dancer specific trait. It just happens that most dancers are female and so we hear it a lot more. But my boyfriend had a second account that was a female toon Architect. He kept getting hit on and proposed, too. Even when he said "i'm a dude", they would just /shrug and continue with the comments that we all know so well. After about a month I heard him break down and said "OMG REMIND ME NEVER TO MAKE A GIRL CHARACTER EVER AGAIN!"

LOL - perhaps it should be a requirement that all the guys have to create a female character and play her at some point as a dancer. Let them get a taste of their own medicine!

When I flirt and such with girls I do it for fun. Trying to be entertaining. Usually gets a laugh. Though, it tends to get me in trouble with the in game girlfriend hehehe. Besides, being a musician and a cantina hermit i don't have a whole lot else to occupy me.

Try not to take it to heart. There are a lot of folks in game who have no real understanding of the demographics of the game and have absolutely no respect for anyone who doesn't share thier playstyle. Many of them have no respect for ANYONE. It's not personal, of course, but it is one of the challenges facing the entertaining comunity.
Some of us are hoping for improvements to the /denyservice function as well as a bit of combat functionality. Would be nice if we had the capability of comanding respect.
