Thread: Thoughts on Ebayed Dancers
One sad point, a lot of people don't know. Is that these people have the capability of writing Sony and saying they lost their Password. What they do is keep about a month on the account left. The write Sony saying they lost their Password. Sony asks them to provide their station name, credit card used and such for the account. They then reset the password and lock out the person that got the account. This happened to my friend when she got an account through an online deal in EQ. I would think they have the same policy with SWG. If you "forget" your password, you can get it reset. Meaning when they get that Ebay Character, the old owner could just send a request to Sony asking for the password to be reset and they've made cash and only lost a little time on the character. A scam really, but how many know about this? Not many.
Maybe that will learn them? ![]()

why would someone waist there money on a dancer though .. i mean its the afk macro profesion to begin with.
Why would someone waste their time being a dancer if all they are going to do is AFK Macro?
Either way is stupid. I almost wish SOE had just provided a "punch this button to become a master entertainer/dancer/musician" option to just let people master the profession in 2 seconds. Then maybe they'd go away and leave the serious entertainers to the profession.

I STILL can't get over that someone thought Master Dancer was cool enough to buy an account for on Ebay/Playerauctions! ![]()
I mean, in one way, I'm very flattered that someone would think that a Master Dancer would be worth their real cash to spend on. Especially since they obviously had no idea what they were doing!
Then, again, I'm kinda confused that someone wouldn't try the professions before buying one. ![]()
Just like in EQ, however, it will happen and usually it's quite easy to stay away from the Ebay'ed.
But.. I'm also amused that someone may have SOLD the guy/girl(yeah, right!) on getting a Master Dancer. Sadly, his po' wittle brain prolly stopped at MASTER and never saw the rest of the text.
So sad, too bad, buh-byee! ![]()
