You'll be surprised....
Didn't say they couldn't.... i said i'd like to see it ![]()
Hey with boots now having no armor value....im formulating a cunning idea...
It may be the same logic but I really don't want to see bad logic like that expanded to the rest of the game just because it's gotten into some systems. To use an old cliche'two wrongs don't make a right'

If the logic behind armor certification is that you need skills to properly don and use certain armors, that logic should hold true with certain clothing items.

If this were indeed to be the case, then it would almost have to be entirely new clothing items, along with MAYBE the leotard and fleshwrap...
Tailors wouldn't take kindly to having their customers potentially taken away... niether would the people who wear the clothing!
But think of it this way: Clothing is just that: Clothing. Anyone can put on a shirt, pants, dress, etc. Armor actually restricts movement, vision, mobility, etc. This perhaps requires some training to get used to. I suppose complex outfits might too, but somehow I just don't see it as quite the same.
As a person who's alt ( TKM/Doc currently ) fights in a fleshwrap (currently with plate/boots/gloves/helm) I would NOT be happy to see that item of clothing taken away. Especially as with the CU I won't have armour so I'll be fighting just in the wrap *grins*.

Which is indeed where the problem lies with this idea. We can't really take away the clothes already in game, and so tehy would have to add new clothes for this. Oooor, possibly new versions of the same item, but with mods or some special effect.

The original post wasintended to be satirical. A way to show how stupid it is to make armor wearable by certain professions only. Make them better at wearing it than us? sure...but not let us equip parts offavourite outfits anymore? stupid.
I recentley passed my test on a motorbike but i could wear my biker boots before i did it.

We cant take away the clothes already in game? Isn't that what they've done with armor already?
