heya pickles, i know this thread wasnt all about my post, i was just pointing out that i picked up this profession three days ago and almost all of the topics turn into the same war. really makes it hard to find anything useful about this skill, which i think is more tragic than anything thats being argued about.

Gee, I thought we were pretty civil over here. This is nothing like the Wanderhome forum. Jeassa said we were the worst of the bunch then the bannings began. Now it's nothing but posts from people trying to sell stuff, so there are people complaining that its gotten boring. Go figure.

On the comment about roleplaying, did you mean this forum? I think it's great if you want to rp on the forum, just put a little note like "in character" at the top so we know what's going on. I think that the reason most don't rp on the forum is that we primarily talk about things that can't be rp-ed, like afk and motion capturing. Forgive me if I didn't understand what you meant.

And to comment on the other post, just because you don't feel it's a vital issue doesn't mean others agree. Again, this is part of respecting everyone's opinions, what is trivial to some isimportant to others. To bring up a non-afk macro example, there is currently abug with hairstyles not showing up for IDers.Some people would argue thatthis is a trivial problemandit should bea very lowpriority. However, this is an extremely important issue if you are trying to fix someone's hair, a fundamental problem for IDers. So, just because you view something as trivial, doesn't mean it's trivial to everyone. Keep in mind that this is a large community and different things are important to everyone. Respect that.
