OW!
"What do you mean, real dancers?"
Those who choose to be dancers because they enjoy it, as opposed to those who are dancers because a holocron told them, or because they want free buffs for their main, or because they figure it's the fastest path to jedi because they can AFK while they sleep.

Ok, let's break down Javy's earlier statement, shall we?
"I'm not sure anyone will be able to answer this question, as entertainers were essentially left out of the "Path to Jedi", so there aren't a lot of dancers with that type of information. Not real dancers, anyway."
The second half of this statement could be rephrased as such: "There aren't a lot of real dancers with that type of information." Meaning there are probably a few real dancers out there on the path to jedi, but for the majority, we've been blocked from taking part. Even if they DID get there, they might not even be able to unlock the appropriate tree where they could dump their dancing experience given that they'd need medical skills. Hence, not a lot of people can answer this question.
Now, everyone take those "LYNCH JAVIER" buttons off your shirts. That wasn't any sort of slam against dancers that are going for Jedi. Stop putting words into my mouth, I don't know where those words have been.
And you don't know where this mouth has been.

Currently I have been afk grinding out dance, music, and healing xp while afk in class at Purdue, in the evenings while studying, or asleep. Yes, sometimes I am at the keyboard, and others I am not. I am a master entertainer, and former master dancer and musician. I am purely useing the xp from this to convert it to FS. The way I look at it, I can convert that xp over, and also get the combat xp that I so love when I am at the keyboard.
When they converted over to this system, they really did make it extremelly easy to become a jedi. So now, just master a profession, and go get some really easy badges, and get some nice afk xp over the course of 18 weeks, and BOOM you have a jedi. *rolls eyes* They just encouraged more people to grind entertainer xp while afk with this system. By the time the next cycle comes around, I will be maxed on sences xp more then likely, and will just have to train in yet another tree real fast. And then back to teh afk grind. True, I will have to do at least 2 branches while at the keyboard, but that is 2 branches out of 6.

Personally I'm going to end up as a Jedi Dancer of some sort, just not too sure on what Jedi..... mabey Enhancement so I can Force Run 3 out of the cantina while being chased by the Bounty Hunter leaving him to deal with all the angry customers that are no longer getting their entertainment for the night

Why exert that much energy? Most Jedi just disconnect/reconnect every 10 minutes or so to bug the mission. It doesn't take long and you don't have to regen the Force Power back. *snicker* Another thing that you can do....Take your friends to the roof of a medium or large house or Guild Hall, then set the house private. That will foil most bounty hunter's well laid plans.
Oh.....Darn it, I forgot again...../sarcasm off

My suggestion is setup a nice ranger camp outside the fog, have19 dancer friendsstop in. Have each of them contact all thier loyal customers tocome visit and help out. Hire or recruit a combat medic to mind disease people. The entire dancing group would be able to grind FS quickly with entertainment would healing which I have seen tick (10 seconds)around 2k if you have enough mind disease.

Dreamland wrote:Well, asuming you could get 100k dance xp per hour it would take you aproximately 700 hours to grind enough xp for all 6 fs branches.Bump that to 200k an hour and it would take you 350 hours or so. Its been some time since ive kept track, but i think even at master level itd be less than 100k per hour.On the combat side,I can get 900k in 3 hours, which with the included combat xp equates to about 60k fs xp which breaks down to around a 350 hour mark to get the xp needed for all 6 branches. To put that in perspective, Morrowind was calimed by its developers to be about an 80 hour rpg, Baldurs gate 2 one of the hugest crpgs going was claimed to 2 or 300 hours i think.Message Edited by Dreamland on 09-08-2004 03:11 PM
I think your numbers as far as combat are flawed. You can apply your combat xp to only some of the FS professions. Senses is the one you can apply your dancing experience. All the combat experience in the universe won't help you with that at all.
