Thread: A reminder of our list the Devs have and a recap on the issues we feel are important.

My primary concern is the global registration system not working in cantinas. If this were working, people could look on the global map and see if there's a cantina worth visiting nearby. This would help spread out populations to player cities and give entertainers a reason to play in player cities.

Along these lines, the overlay map should also display registration information.

If dancers could create the props for exp (like musicians craft instruments) that would be a plus.

Omg Lesia! That could solve ALOT of the AFK dancer problems!!

Why are there so many AFK Dancers in cantinas? Because there's no other way to get Dancing XP. But if Dancers could make props that give them XP, do you think this would lower the holotainers in our cantinas?

I think it just might! They don't want to be there! They may do anything else than dance in a cantina.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread, but I wanted it posted before the idea left my brain hehe

This is not a major issue, but more of a wish list item. Dancers need to have 'wardrobe' containers that do not have to be equipped to function like backpacks. You would be able to drop clothing/props into this wardrobe, which would hold 50 items just like a backpack, and (again just like an equipped backpack) it would not count against your inventory limit - however you would NOT have to walk around visibly wearing a backpack, which looks just terrible on a dancer! Characters would be limited to only 1 wardrobe container inside their inventory to prevent stacking problems or an unfair advantage in the number of items you can carry.

2nd wish list item - when you equip an item of clothing that is stored in this wardrobe, it will remain stored rather than relocating into your main inventory.

Our wardrobes are a big feature of our profession, it would be really nice to be able to carry more than a few accessorized outfits at a time, particularly if you travel off planet a lot and are often far from your home wardrobe. This would also free up a lot of our regular inventory space so we can carry at least a few of the items that other professions can drag around without thinking twice, like food buffs, weapons, etc., for those of us who have a SWG life outside of the cantina as well as enjoying our opportunites to perform and entertain.

Super idea, Neetika! I hate having to run outside a city cantina to pull out my storage droids to lookthrough my danceclothing. A dance storage container might even help tailor sales.

Just a wishlist item...

/seguay. Usage: /seguay [forward/backward/left/right] [number]. This would activate a little strut or saunter animation to let us move those annoying ten spaces I always seem to have drifted away from where I want to be dancing, without making me stare at where I start my flourishes (and constantly miss, because the three year old needed a drink or I turned to hear my husband say something, only to find I missed my spot).

I like this idea of a wardrobe! And maybe a little perk that it be only usableby ents for storing items ofclothing.

And until this second post I thought you were being funny, but in a pointed way. *grin*

Overall, there's nothing I've thought of that isn't listed here somewhere. My top three, right now

1. fix the dances, PLEASE

2. the falling thing. Ugh.

3. missions or other content -- I really like the spy type stuff, and I do a lot of that sort of thing independently

Well - I recently made master Dancer (yes afk sometimes - I never knew anything could be so boring) and I can't believe that at master I get 4 flourishes for a dance - and 1 of those looks crap. I have opportunity for 8 great flourishes a dance, and they arent worth pressing. My dancing is so boring!! I wanted to be a dancer, but I find myself only doing it now to buff my guild mates (and feeling embarrassed that I cant give them any variety while they are forced to watch me the 8 mins it takes to fully mind buff with 3 crappy ,slow flourrishes!)

My other character is a fully maxed combat and she has LOTS of specials! All interesting to watch as those feet and fists fly. Surely after all that grind the master dancer could have something worth choreographing!

So - GIVE US DANCES WORTH DOING!!!!!!!!!

Yes - no falling - we are experts damn it.

Any dance we choose to do for variety should give equal mind buffs - and we should do them with grace and dignity - not look likewe lost the plot between flourishes.

There are entertainer missions? (screams with laughter) My mayor placed one for me - I told him to get rid of it - waste of space. As master dancer /very novice fencer, I get better creds and more interest hunting bantha.

The wardrobe idea - terrific! I am going for crafting too, and my invent is soooo full. And so is the bank. But packpacks are not the best costume prop for the Master Dancer.

1. Finish the flourishes for the dances that have repeats from previous dances.

2. If not take out the fall as a master, at least tone down the frequencyso that isan extremely rare event.

3. Allow entertainers (entertainers, dancers, musicians) the opportunity to participate in a field op group and allow battle fatigue healing in the high level ranger camps (even limit it to the Master Ranger crafted camps).

4. I love the idea of having a wider variety of mission types. Possibly give us faction missions from faction terminals thathave us collecting information (who is going to suspect a dancer or musician of being a spy?)
