I'm definately a 1 and 3. I will talk to anyone at anytime! But I'm also very proud of my healing abilities and welcome black bar challenges and make myself available for buffing anytime I am dancing
I'm usually found in Theed cantina as leader of the big group because feware ATK to do it
And naturally I belong to this 4 event entertainer group. I'm the leading source of events on the Kauri server

#1 and #3.. #1 because hanging out in the cantinas is a nice way to see everyone and help new players. #3 because healing makes me feel like Im doing my part to help the other professions. Couldnt really get into #2.. I m a Master ID also so I spend alot of time running back and forth from the cantina and tent. And besides I look horrible in hawtpants..

I guess any entertainer worth their salt is a bit of all three..
I love the social part and when it's on, it's on.. when the cantina is dead I can enjoy myself with a few friends doing the show part, and I absolutely LOVE cantina crawls and starport jams and stuff like that for their high show aspect (and cause they make such nice mementos)
and I do feel I have somewhat of a way to improve the game for other players by being there to provide buffs if asked for in a polite way..
after pub 10 I'm going full cantina cat, gonna work my way toward master musician, maybe even drop TKM entirely and get a few blocks in ID so I can stat migrate ppl asking for those.. not like I'm gonna do major combat anymore anyway after the new system with thousands of drooling Jedi wanabe's flood the system..
I'd love that as an official overhead title! *cantina-cat* ^-^
they'd have to be master dancers/entertainers/musicians, too

My new character is a #5....
Oh a #5 would be;
5. The down on your luck panhandler. This type of entertainer will happily entertain you while grumbling occaisionally about the poor state of his wardrobe, lack of items or inability to make a buck. Accepting any type of payment or reward for a performance.
As my character earns credits and items he wil eventually become a #1-2-4 hybrid while keeping the #5 grumbling.

No question for me I am a pure #2.
While I have healed people and while I have chatted people while dancing they are just incidental along the way to training, recruiting, making contacts and generating good will to support "THE SHOW".
My goal is to see entertainers in a professional entertainment industry. Adept ic in game actors that can help set the mood for any roleplay or celebration. Put on sets, do plays, organize events and give it that extra umph.
I spend so much time trying to organize entertainment I don't spend much time actually playing a dancer. Have never achieved master dancer even with being online a ridiculous amount of time because I have no time to grind. And my idea of grinding might be the definition of #1 to most people.
If I'm not dancing in a show or class these days I'm not dancing. I have regrets about this, I would LOVE to have the time to learn to be as technically proficient as Tiaga. I think I might be able to approach him (but never exceed him) if I did take the time. Instead its, "I want to see X, lets figure out how to do X and do it *Tandaava looks at Tiaga or Illya or a bunch other others*."
These days I'm not even doing shows but I am SO excited at some of the talent on the server and what they can do with it that I keep trying to say go team from the sidelines. When entertainers organize on their own more and spin off groups and such maybe I'll get some time to go back and being a dancer, who knows, I doubt it. At this point I might be hopelessly addicted to managing.

I'd say I'm striving towards #2... the art of performing is what interests me the most in the profession.
I'm a little bit of #1, but to be honest I come from a background that includes years of heavy RP oriented play prior to coming to SWG. Conversing with people ranting about how their 1337 Jedi friends are going to $%*&'npwn everybody they don't like just isn't my cup of tea. I tend to limit my socializing mainly with other entertainers and other players that can behave somewhat maturely. Call me a snob, but I prefer to interact with people who type out proper english, express their views without excessive profanity anddon'tfeel the need to brag about how big and bad they are and how many Jedi they know. And I won't even go into those people that go around and randomly challenge people to duels... as if any entertainer in their right mind is going to want to duel with Billy Bob Master Commandojacked up onbuffs, with a full set ofcomp and a flamethrower. Uhh... yeah, so maybe #1 isn't my strong suit...
#3 I don't care much about at all. If somebody askes for a buff, I'll give them one, not that my buffs are very good since I haven't bothered to get any mind enhancement boxes yet. As for BF/Wound healing, it's not something I think about, since it happens automatically when people watch me when I'm enjoying the practice of #2. I do notice the XP from time to time when it gets really high, but that's about it.

I wrote up a little replay to your PM you sent me. I looked up and I am on the add/ingnore list for you.. I really wanted to let you know were I stand in a PM but since I can not I guess I will POST it right here
I under stand that but I do not see why. It is part of the game IMO, the devs gave us this right. I do not understand why People care how Us buff bots play... I do not get on anyone about there pay style at all and I think this has gone way over board. I brought up good things in my first post, I wish all people would give as I do. It is the little things that can make a persons day. It does a service to both players and my guild. The guild I started is more like a family then a guild it is good people given back to people that play this game.. The other question I like to bring up is IF people hate buff bots then why is my buff group full 80% of the time. to me this would prove just the opsite I would think. I think the anti buff people are 1 people who can not figure out how to make a looping marco. 2 people that like to cause problems "this is the one i think most it is" 3 a small amout of people that really love to stand in a cantina and dance...
This is my two cents

You are not on add/ignore lol. I got it. Twice actually!
I sent you back a mini novel too lol. I think it is four parts since there is a 2000 word limit... er... don't be afraid. If you want to post any more you can start a new thread instead of posting here. But GarVa has been around watching today - so keep it nice.

I'm mostly, maybe 70% #1. I absolutely love the social aspect of this prof.I will be about 20% #2 when I level enough. A bit of #3 as well, but that's not the main reason I dance.

In my opinion, a dancer should strive to encompass all three. And the three are not mutually exclusive. In fact, I don't know how a dancer can be #1 or #2, and not do #3. I can't understand how a dancer can do #3 exclusively and not say something about their ability to do #1 and #2. I don't know how one can do #2 solo very easily, nor #1 when performing at an event. And I don't mean to skirt around your question, Drygo, but the way I look at the profession, all the things we do are simply tools that have a specific function, and that function is to give satisfaction to a cantina patron. This for me includes, but is not limited to, satisfaction of his or her statistical needs, plus the ability to get these statistical needs satisfied in an amusing way. There are a whole "bag of tools" that I have to do that, like costume changes, choreographed routines, and audience participation. I can do these things while I give out game mechanics.
But I'd have to say as a dancer, I am known for my #1, I am knowledgable in #3, and I'm weakest in #2.
