Just tested every location.
Player cantinas, hotels, regular cantinas, and even Player and NPC Theaters are all working correctly now on TC. When no one is registered it shows as a moon. You just walk inside, type /register, and it shows as a sun on a refresh. Leaving the building or logging out then unregisters you with the location.
I even had other people report to me what they were seeing on refreshes on the map as I tried different locations. The only thing I havn't tested yet is multiple entertainers registering with a location. I don't have much more time to be online right now, but I can test that out with the hubby or another entertainer later this evening.
But, so far, its working for every single location type
Oh, and we really should get the devs to move NPC theaters into the Theater category. Right now they are in their own weird Theater sub-category under guild hall. Only player city theaters are in the main theater category. Now that this is working right, it might be a good time to ask for them to make the categories consistant.

I hope so.
My main player cantina was originally placed by a rebel, and that was a loooooong time ago.
Town is neutral and all, but as imperial i never could register there (not that it would have changed anything so far).
Just hope i can register there now, or that theres a way to manually change the faction allignment of a cantina.

Bwah hah hah! Word is out!
Test test test this, and make sure it's all working well... and I'll get a pitch in to see about moving static city theaters out of that buried spot under guild halls pronto.
Woohoo for registration love!

Mmk, lets look on the positive sides of this.
- One of our features now works properly(yay to no bugs).
- This will really help those of us who have player cantinas or who like to dance places other than the buff bot havens. It will make it easier for the players to know where we are.
And the big one
- AFK supporters now have no arguement about how if buff bots are removed, players will never be able to find an entertainer. This is now totally and completely not true. With registering working, players will be able to know exactly where the novice and up musicians and dancers are performing at. So, not being able to find entertainers can not be used as an excuse any more.
The only negative is that, yes, buff bots will be able to use it too. But, I say let them use it and get players in the habit of using the feature. That only benefits us too, and will make things that much better for us once they are eventually gone

'Tess, thank you for all your work towards testing this long awaited fix, and for thispost. I thought of the bots first thing, but don't think I would of thought of getting players used to using this system, even if currently it's to find a bot.
