Only if I'm in my own cantina (as I'm usually there for a while) or if I know I'll be somewhere for the evening (which isn't often enough).

I never registered my entertainer. But...part of the reason was I was not even familiar with how, and what registering did.
My thoughts are that if my dancer was in the Coro Cantina, people would come find her regardless if she was or wasn't registered.

I usually remember to register. Which is something of a miracle, because most of the time I wouldn't remember my head if it weren't attached.

I use it, hoping others remember how useful it was before it broke forever ago. More in hopes that it'll become well known enough once again to be a useful command, than expecting it to get much mileage at this point.
Also, just because anyone checking to see what cities have cantinas in them at all will bring up the list, and if ANY since cantina has a Sun beside it, surrounded by a sea of moons, it ought to cause the person checking to wonder why the heck that single cantina is different from the rest (and may give that cantina a visit!). That's how I first learned about it, back in the day - wondering.

I /register every time I perform. And I can count on one hand the number of times I've pulled up the planetary map and seen that sun icon anywhere else.
On Starsider, where my character is a crafter and a pilot, I did once use /register to find entertainers after getting shot down. They were in some player cantina on Lok, and not only ATK, but buffing a novice doctor who was willing to take care of my red and green bars to boot. Almost a glimmer of what this game would be like if it actually worked.
