Yup..totally bugged at least until they "fix" BEs (and maybe beyond as I've heard that the BE fix won't be retro)..I've got a couple as well..**edit** glad I didn't drop them in a skinsuit

(mine is black btw..I like wearing it under a pullover..guess I better go in game & see what it looks like now)

They've changed the texture on them to a shimmery mesh look, with a spiderweb-like design. They have not limited the number of colors this item can be made in. Vandessa posted a link to a screenshot in the tailor forum (sorry, I didn't save the link), and it actually doesn't look bad. While the programmers have many issues to worry about, the art team has already been looking for new things to add. This is not a "nerf" or a "fix" that should have waited until all bugs had been fixed, all exploits removed, etc. Just a texture change.

My white sexy bodysuite now hasRorschak like ink blotches in grey. The formerly glossy seeming material now looks a bit ruffled. No more catsuit style like before. I hated it spontaneously.

Okay quick reality check.. The artists are not the programmers.. No this is NOT brought to you by the same people that fixed any classes, and this is not being done by the people who fix any of those bugs you've complained about.

This probably happened becuase to many parents walked in and say their kids looking at seemlying naked female toons

I happened to have one of these in my inventory on my brawler char-it looks a LOT better now actually. The texture really improves this item and I'll actually make one to wear/dance in now. It was too plain and boring before.

Now if only they'll put in the schematic for the metal bikini *bottom* I'd be one happy little tailor!

Okay I've had a look at it now. I can't say as I liked it overly to start with, but it may grow on me. The reason I got my red bodysuit in the first place was because my character concept was that Rookery DeCarabas is half Zeltron, a red skinned race. I danced quite a lot in my red togs that way. It was actually to express her heritage. And though I express an interest in that smooth barbie look, I really couldn't pull that off (IE: Small Chested).

When I went on today, I saw this look like someone had squarted oil on my suit and folded it in half, making it look like a Rorschach test. (I see a doggie, a kitty and a horse with a hat on.) Well... Now when I wear my red catsuit, I can still imagine it expresses her Zeltron heritage, only now with a full body tattoo like her zabrak mother had.

And did it kind of backfire as well? In the case of my black infiltrator leggings, now they look like sheer hose with lacy filligree through em. Kind of gothy (Though Goth Awful is my usual term), and counter to the idea of ridding the galaxy of 'nude' dancers. Now instead, you have dancers in lingerie. Which is a lot more suggestive than any kind of nudity. The body by itself is lovely, but just a body. A body dressed in lingerie is being presented in a way meant specifically to excite. Like with any number of articles of clothing currently available to us. (Exotic Leotards, Revealing Bikini tops, The I-Dream of Jeannie Harem pants....)

Ahh well.

*sob* My bodysuit now makes my poor Twi'lek look like he has leisions all over his body. And after I spent almost all my money on it. I was so not happy to see what they did to it. And the colors never matched perfectly to begin with. You could always see the wrist and ankle lines. Maybe with human colors it blended better, I dunno.

What really irks me is not that I can no longer do my fun striptease type stuff, nor is it that I can't get the "OMG how r u naked???" responses anymore from n00bs. No, what really irks me is that male dancers now have HALF the options that they had before for dance outfits. I have my hotpants/vest combo now, or the ever-ghetto hotpants/undershirt combo. No longer do I have the naked look or the naked-with-a-vest look. My only options for skimpy male dance clothes are different colors of hotpants and vests. I never really have considered a cloak as "skimpy." You can't see anything from behind, nor can you see arms or legs, really.

Why are there a bazillion skimpy outfits for females, like fleshwraps and bikinis, but nothing for guys? If the girls can wear their "2 bandaids and a cork" outfits, why can't guys even go SHIRTLESS? I'd almost settle for hotpants/shirtless if they didn't want to make new clothes for guys. Sorry, it's just something that's irked me from the start. I know that the majority of the gameplayers are hormonally active teenage males (or lonely 30 year olds in their parents' basement *snicker*) who want scantily clad females. But what about the rest of us who want our sexy guys? I feel so left out.

Yes, just when you thought they couldn't nerf entertainers (or any fashion conscious player). My girlfriend screamed bloody murder about this. She plays a Zabrak and said fully three-quarters of her wardrobe has been nerfed, including her favorite 'everyday' outfits. As I've enjoyed watching her dance ingame, and seeing her 'everyday' outfit, I can understand her plight.

I'm not going to load up her character to take a look, so this is off the top of my head. She has infiltrator leggings in White, Black, and the old Red (kewldeep-bright-pink looking) as well as a Black Infiltrator Suit. Personally, with the full infiltrator suit, and the fact that there's an insane number of juvenile players in this game and having seen some of them in their 'nekked' suit, I can understand the nerf.........However, the leggings are (or were) just like spandex in the real world and there was no reason whatsoever to nerf them. Basically, all her outfits using infiltrator leggings now look stupid. This is including her 'everyday' outfit, which was Black or White leggings with a White shirt (with black trim) and White/Black gloves and boots. Even this outfit now looks completely Lame whereas it did look Great (she would receive compliments wherever she went).

Now I'm not saying all women are like my girlfriend (thank god she went to bed before I started typing this), but she's ready to quit playing over this. I'd rather she would keep playing so I wouldn't feel bad (read: like I'm neglecting her) playing the game by myself while she watches TV or reads, or whatever.

If this was done as a result of parents complaining that their children were seeing Barbie-like nakedness, then I say make a new option under Misc in our game options for parental controls, for them to toggle this new (lame) texture on infiltrator wear (among other things), and not ruin mature adults enjoyment of a game by ruining what they have been able to wear. We have seen the children wearing their 'nekked' suits and have ignored them fine. Why should all spandex outfits be ruined by these immature players? Besides, what races in game can have skin that's White/Black/Deep-Bright-Pink?

Here I've been switching classes from one to another as they each get nerfed, and was thinking of starting an entertainer of my own, but it appears no class is safe. Actually, this nerf effects every class. Here's a thought.......This could be considered the biggest nerf yet by a MMOG publisher, they just nerfed their entire player base.

THAT is a beautiful idea. Institute an adult graphic filter! Make these parents responsible for their own children and not at our expense. Of course these kinds of anti-nudity parents that are so pro-censorship conscious are also filtering out a lot of things that their kids will be totally unprepared to deal with later on in life. But hey. If therapists and religious types weren't warning people about how screwed up a little objectionable material will make their kids, they wouldn't have a job being able to help the adults deal with all the objectionable stuff they were never prepared for in the first place AS children.

GIVE US OUR SMOOTH SUITS BACK!! KEEP OTHER PEOPLE'S DRACONIAN AND OPPRESSIVE MORALITY OUT OF MY GAME EXPERIENCE AND SHOW A LITTLE BACKBONE. SONY, ENFORCE YOUR CORPORATE DOMINANCE FOR A GOOD CAUSE AND MAKE A STAND FOR MAKING PARENTS RAISE THEIR OWN CHILDREN INSTEAD OF FORCING A BLAND AND UN-INTERESTING WORLD UPON US. OR BETTER YET PARENTS, HOW ABOUT YOU DON'T LET YOUR LITTLE CHILDREN SIT IN FRONT OF A COMPUTER ALL DAY PLAYING AN MMORPG. HOW ABOUT YOU HAVE THEM READ A BOOK OR GO OUTSIDE AND RIDE A FREAKING BICYCLE! THERE'S A MORALLY OBJECTIONABLE CONCEPT! A PARENT THAT'S WILLING TO LET THEIR KID SIT IN FRONT OF THE GREAT INTERNET TEAT AS A BABYSITTER. AND YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT WHAT THEY MAY SEE IN GAME? I'D BE A LITTLE MORE FREAKING WORRIED ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON IN YOUR HOME IF YOU CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO TAKE A LITTLE MORE INTEREST IN WHAT YOUR KIDS ARE DOING.

The thing that bothered me most was was the ifiltrator leggings looking so awful. it ruined every outfit I had those pants with.

Oh well... At least I freed up some space in my house and in my pack when I deleted them.

Or you all just could find some nice elgent things to dance in. My character as from ever nice things, and none of them make her look like she's about to start striping or is naked, and I still get oddles of tips. You know how? I talk to the people, ask them how the wars is going, what raids are planed, if I see someone whose been there before I ask them how the last hunt went or how the climb to master is. I have return customers, and many like the fact that I remeber them.

I brought my black body suit for one reason, for when I'm doing night time scouting on op faction player camps.

I am very sorry for all the ppl that lost the cloths they liked so much Truly. now for my opinion I looked at the new texture on the body suits to be it looked like a snake skin patern. I am a bothan and I had a Black suit and it was neat but looked horrable on my small body. On humans I thought they looked nice as far as making them your skin tone hey what ever makes you happy =) tho I happen to like the new look. I looked at the leggings and i could not see the patern on them (the set that have been in my house for months now) the suit yes but not the legs . again I am sorry to thoes that lost their fave clothing . I think it could have been handled a bit differantly .
