I guess a similar question is any single box increase that much better. Not really a huge increase buta better increase. Just make sure you dance the Novice Dancer dances. This will give you trivial xp increase. More importantly, for dancers multiple flourishes per tick does not good except to waste Action. Musicians get additional xp for two flourishes but dancers do not.

You may also not want to do a flourish every tick either. Say you get 25xp when you do a flourish. Notice the flourishes use 50% of the action. See below

In the first column you get 75xp but spend 225 Action and in the second column you only get 72xp but spend175 Action. Is the extra 3xp worth 50 Action? Probably not.

I understand my numbers may not be totally acurate but they are to prove a point. As you get higher dances, it become apparent that flourished every tick wastes Action
