Well, I orgininally started lurking around here back in... eee... prolly early august '03 to see what people were doing to try to stop the growing problem of AFKers.

That's part of the reason why I still come here, of course, but I also just like to keep informed on issues for the professions that mean so much to me. Interestly I don't frequent the CH or Smuggler forums. /shrug

Also, in a strange leaving-messages-on-the-wall type of way I consider you all to be friends, and isn't communicating with friends what this is all about anyway?

I do the same as Scip..all three forums..zeros all the way down and have for well over a year.

One fateful day back in October of 03 (que quivering, old voice), after having made it to novice dancer on Bria, I stumbled into this forum. And, like Alice in Wonderland, Ihaven't been able to find my way out!

Not that I've been trying very hard, mind you . . . .

I've ranted, I've railed, I've cried, I've screamed, I've laughed and I've sung for joyhere. And for the most part, y'all seem to accept me anyway.

I come here for news, yes. But that isn't why I participate in the forum. To me this is quite possibly the most tightly-knit group of players in the game (although I do include all the entertainer professions in that statement).

This is a place I visit at least twice a day where Iget to 'see' and interact with people Ienjoy being with. From within the virtual walls of this forum several very good friends have come into my server and intomy life including one of the dearest friends I've ever known.

As long as I play Galaxies, and probably as long as I can after that, I will be a part of this forum.
